- THE FACULTY ALL ARE NICE AND GOOD WITH STUDENTS AND HELP TEACHING WITH EXTRA CLASSES ALSO AND THEY PREVENT RAGGING ALSO BY FORMING ANTI RAGGING SQUADS.

- WE HAVE LESS COLLEGE TIME COMPARED TO OTHER COLLEGES OUR COLLEGE TIMINGS ARE FROM 9AM TO 3:10 PM ATLEAST WE WANT UPTO 4 OR 5 PM

ANDHRA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING IS THE BEST AVAILABLE COLLEGE IN VIZAG FOR STUDENTS COMPARED TO OTHER COLLEGES IN VIZAG. WE HAVE MORE VALUE FOR OUR CERTIFICATE COMPARED TO OTHER COLLEGE CERTIFICATES IN VIZAG. TO GET SEAT IN ANDHRA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING WE HAVE TO QUALIFY AND GET A GOOD RANK IN EAPCET OR QUALIFY IN THE ENTRANCE EXAM OF THE COLLEGE. AFTER GETTING A SEAT WE HAVE TO SUBMIT OUR ALLOTMENT LETTER THAT WE GET AFTER QUALIFYING FOR THE EXAM AND WITH THAT WE ALSO HAVE TO SUBMIT THE TC OF OUR INTERMEDIATE AND FILL THE FORM GIVEN BY THEM AT THE PRINCIPAL OFFICE. THE BAD IN THE COLLEGE IS THE TIMINGS WHICH ARE LESSER COMPARED TO PRIVATE COLLEGES IN VIZAG.

AND ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP IF YOU QUALIFY AND ENTER THROUGH EAPCET YOU CAN GET A FREE SEAT AND IF YOU JOIN THROUGH THE COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM YOU HAVE TO PAY THE MANAGEMENT SEAT FEE BASED ON YOUR COURSE RIGHT NOW THE MANAGEMENT SEAT FEE FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING IS 1000000? AND IT MIGHT INCREASE EVERY YEAR. AND FACULTY TEACH US USING THE SMART BOARDS. AND WE HAVE TWO SEMESTERS PER YEAR. AND THE PAPER IS VERY DIFFICULT.

WE HAVE TO CLEAR ALL THE SUBJECTS AND MAINTAIN AN AVERAGE CGPA OF 7.5 FOR SERVICE-BASED COMPANIES AND 8.0 FOR PRODUCT-BASED COMPANIES IN PLACEMENTS AND IF YOU HAVE LESS CGPA THEN GETTING PLACEMENT MIGHT BE TOUGH AND YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY BACKLOGS. AND IN THE LIBRARY WE HAVE SO MANY BOOKS BASED ON OUR COURSE BUT SOMETIMES YOU THE BOOKS MISARRANGED ON THE SHELFS WHICH MIGHT CAUSE TROUBLE FINDING BOOKS. AND WE HAVE THE CENTRAL LIBRARY WHICH IS THE BIGGEST LIBRARY IN THE COLLEGE AND VIZAG ALSO MAYBE. WE HAVE SPORTS CONDUCTED BY STUDENTS IN COLLEGE FOR DEPARTMENT DAY FEST EVERY YEAR TO WELCOME FRESHERS. WE HAVE SOCIAL GROUPS, CLUBS, AND APPS RUN BY STUDENTS WHICH IS SOMETHING WE CAN FIND IN PLAYSTORE. AND FOR THE HOSTEL THEY ARE HYGIENIC AND CLEAN AND THEY ARE AFFORDABLE TOO BUT WE DON'T HAVE ANY AC IN ROOMS ONLY NON-AC AND THE FOOD QUALITY IS GOOD 8 FOR 10 RATING.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
