- Campus life as the hostel was mandatory for all. Everybody used to celebrate festivals together. BIMTECH is mini India in itself. Students from each corner of not only India but foreign also come to study.
- The food was exceptionally well. 4 times meal was given with a lot of varieties. Sweets in dinner everyday. Say anything you want to eat and it was already present in the monthly menu.
Dislikes
- The in time of coming in the college after visiting outside was 7.30 pm. This lead to a rush. You have to be worried everytime you are late. But now the time has been increased till 9 pm.
- Time of Classes are from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Sometimes it feels hectic but at the same time now I am missing the classes as now it is more hectic while I have started working.
Remarks :
BIMTECH offers PGDM in insurance that helped me in making a choice. Insurance is the next big game in the industry and so I chose it as a subject. Back in 2022, I directly faced a PI round which was online at that time because of COVID. The CAT cutoff was 72.5 percentile for PGDM. Apart from CAT, XAT, MAT & CMAT exam results are also considered in the admission process and the cutoffs for XAT is 72.5 percentile and 80 percentile for MAT & CMAT. I gave mock interviews for clearing PI round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties have prior corporate experience of at least 20 years and then they have joined BIMTECH to share their knowledge. Exams were held in every 3 months, i.e., trimesters. 3 trimesters in 1st year, and then a 3 month internship and then again 3 trimesters in 2nd year before you jump into the corporate.
Internships Opportunities :
I also opted for internship and got an internship in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. with a stipend of 10,000 rupees per month. The company allowed location of the student's preference. I was an intern in motor claims department in Delhi. I had to make a project on how to smoothen the claims process in the company by modifying the tech.
Placement Experience :
We were a batch of 50 students and everyone got paid internships ranging from 10k to 50k. More than 25% students got Pre placement offers. In case of placements, Everybody got placed from 12th to 17th september. The demand for insurance jobs in the college were more than 300 and we were only 50. Students had many options to chose from. Recruiters included Digit Insurance, Tata AIG, CRISIL, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Iffco tokio etc.
Campus Life :
So in total there are 20 clubs and conduits/committees which are student run led by a faculty member. Throughout the year, festival celebrations and friendly competitions happen. Food is the best part in the college. Better food compared to any other college, specially the breakfast. Sports, including cricket and football have been dedicated separate clubs which organise competitions. Hostel facilities are mandatory for everyone. In 14,00,000 tuition fee, hostel and mess chsrges are also included. However, the fees has increased to 17,00,000 for insurance course this year

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

It's a private college so we can't expect something great we need to manage our studies ourselves . Teachers are quite confused for whatever they teach. The environment is also not that good. I would suggest that you can get a better college from this
