Tamilnadu national law University (should you join?)
Likes
- Basketball Court, Badminton Court and the Campus during evenings look soo pretty 😍.
Dislikes
- Lack of a proper gym, eateries and connectivity issues.
- There is one downside though that is the university is quite far away from the city and it takes around 20 mins to reach by auto and around 30 minutes by bus.
Remarks :
To get into any National Law University you need to write CLAT(it's an all-India exam for Law) then after that your counseling starts and you are allowed to a university based on your marks(your preferences are also taken into consideration). The cut-off for the general category is usually between AIR 1500-1600. You can go to CLAT coaching or just buy a CLAT book and start preparing on your own(like I did) the questions consist of general knowledge, aptitude, legal reasoning, English, and Current affairs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course Curriculum is designed in such a way as to help you become the best in the field, there is a lot of emphasis given to procedural laws and the best faculties teach us the procedural laws. Other than that the marking criteria are one of the best in the country(you cannot fail in the marking criteria they use). There is a Financial assistance scheme offered both by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the welfare schemes of the Central Government. The exams aren't too difficult and if you know how to apply the law you can easily top the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I have worked with one law firm in Chennai, one corporate firm in Bangalore, and currently in an IP Law firm based out of Delhi and Noida. The stipend is usually less than around 10k depending on your organization(it's rare but you can get a decent stipend based on the city as well).
Placement Experience :
The placement cell works hard to bring companies and our seniors have been placed in many of the leading law firms in the country. Since this is relatively a new university the alumni base isn't so strong but the seniors are very helpful. There have been a few recruiters from Chennai(mostly litigation-based law firms) but they offer a decent package for the industry standards.
Campus Life :
The campus life is fun, it's a small campus, there is a vibrant basketball and football culture here in this campus, the hostels are fine(it does get hot during the summers) the messy food is also manageable not too high to say anything about, we have a inclusive culture where all festivals are celebrated equally.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
