RV Institute is very prestigious and one of the top colleges in Karnataka as well as ranked all over India also, for architecture it's one of the best choices - most of the faculty are from top universities all over the world, and the support we get here is very high compared other colleges. Because of this, I chose this college. I had discussed this with one of our seniors who was a family friend. And about the admission tests - there are no such tests for admission, Seats can be given according to the ranks, and allotment of the K-CET, COMEDK, and management seats are also available.
I chose this course because I wanted to become a professional designer of interior. Faculties are highly qualified and most of them are from the top universities across the world. As in architecture, we don't have many theory subjects but they will be easy to clear but the subjects related to Design are difficult. About the scholarship this opt all scholarship that are given by the government. There's no such scholarship given by the college itself.
No, I am in my fourth year currently, and I have not opted for any internship. Tasks as a fresher or intern will be drafting and rendering for which learning a lot of software is necessary. There are programs like solar decathlon and lots of competition which can be considered as very important for the resume build here.
There are no such eligibility criteria for Placements but can get a very good company or firm for internships as well as for jobs because of the college's reputation. The highest package can be 8lacks as fresher because it's very difficult to get into the field of architecture. Most of the people after B.arch will join M.arch because of which placement rate is less but most of the people get jobs in the firms in which they did internships.
The campus is not that exciting here, only one exhibition happens every year where celebrate design as well as co-curricular activities. The library is available most of the time, has books for all categories, and librarians are very cooperative. Sports we have courts and nowadays importance is given much compared to before. Different clubs in college can be chosen according to the interest or specialty, which come together in an exhibition for work. Hostel fare is a little high but the facilities are very good, and the food is very delicious. I used to stay in a hostel before as of now I got a small flat for myself. Surrounding the college a lot of homes are available.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
