- I belong from a poor family so the minimal fees is what attracted me to the most.
- There isn't any pressure of 75% attendance which is a boon for students like me, who are preparing for civil services.
Dislikes
- I suppose the parking area should a little more big. Because sometimes, students don't get space to park their vehicles in the college.
- The canteen area should be a little bigger.
Remarks :
Due to my poor financial condition, I chose this college for my graduation. The fees were pretty affordable for me and also there wasn't any pressure of 75% attendance. I didn't face any such test at the time of my admission. I got direct admission based on my 12th percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing civil services that's why I chose economics honors as my graduation course. The syllabus of economics gave me a deep understanding of the topic and helped me in exam preparation. Also, from school time I was passionate about economics so it was an advantage for me. Though the college doesn't hold regular classes I have attended some of them. The faculty team is PhD qualified and good to go. They are extremely professional and skilled. They try their best to make students comfortable in their presence. The term exams used to happen once a year. The difficulty was medium but again, it depends upon your exam preparation also. My whole graduation fee, including exam fees or any miscellaneous fees, was approximately? 15,000. Coming from a poor family, the fees were affordable for me. But you can still apply for a scholarship. For that, you have to write an application and further refer to the college office.
Placement Experience :
A harsh fact is, this college doesn't offer placements & job opportunities. So after college, it's up to students what they want to pursue. For me, my plans are still focused on civil services only.
Campus Life :
The campus infrastructure is beautiful and is combined with all the greenery and beautiful trees around. Together it is a sight to behold. The birds chirping and the sun shining give a calm atmosphere to students after their hectic schedule. The college also has many clubs, for the leadership development of students.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
