- The classes are well maintained and all the faculties are totally available for all the students
- The college provides good support for many co curriculum activities and non academic activities

- The college sometimes stress too much about minor fees such as exam fees , library fees and miscellaneous
- The college scrutinizes their own students very harshly on any public events hosted by the college .
Remarks :
This college has the best infrastructure and overall all the facilities here are very well maintained. Has AC classrooms with an AC lab and a library with lounges for both genders. The college is well maintained and all the fixtures and college infrastructures are monitored and maintained regularly. The hostel too is one of the finest with well-maintained cleaning staff and best in hostel room structures and facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was a VTU-affiliated student, now the college is autonomous and runs on autonomous rules although this too is certified and accredited by the central university. The college has a Manu NBA-accredited course with a large selection of different branches and streams. MITE too has MCA and MBA courses in it, although I won't be able to provide any details on it. I was the first batch in my course that is AIML , and even though I never felt short of any materials or study routines, the college provided all the necessary items for academics . The exams too were done regularly that is once every month up to 3 tests and 1 semester-end exam with a lab exam at the end. The fee hike is not present as of now and the fee is static until the course ends.
Placement Experience :
There is no eligibility criteria for placement all there is the company's cut-off level for students to enrol The highest package as of now I believe is 23Lakhs in the CSE branch and was offered for 2 students.
Campus Life :
The college hosts various fest, initially MILANGE which is a freshers entry fest done grandly during 1 semester, then followed by Kannada Rajyotsava which too is done grandly with a good amount of expense in setting up the fest, then followed by Aandhas which is a Malayalam team fest hosted primarily by all Keralites and Malayalam student. This fest is not only limited to a set of students but is a mass event. And then comes the mega event SENTIA which is a 3-day event including of inter-college competition, sports fest and much more and finally VELOMA for the final years. The college too supports sports activities and there is a separate department and section for the same. There are many social groups and clubs in MITE, additional information on these can be obtained on the college website. I was a hosteller for 3 years, from 1 to 3 third year later I shifted to a rented house sharing 4 members with my buddies outside the college for a change in life.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
