- College seniors are great with having helping nature. They are your mentor,guide and brother at a same time. They help you mentally, emotionally, socially. Seniors are not only seniors in College only but in outer society also.
- Our college is a beautiful place to study, located near Ana Sagar Lake and right in the middle of the city. This prime location offers excellent connectivity to the railway station, which is just 6 kilometers away. Surrounded by the stunning Aravali range, the campus boasts a picturesque setting that is both peaceful and inspiring. One of the most striking features of our college is its lush green environment. The campus is filled with green plants and trees, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. Walking through the college grounds, you'll notice the well-maintained gardens and green spaces that make it a pleasure to be here. Another advantage of our college is its proximity to Pushkar town, which is only 6 kilometers away. This gives students the opportunity to explore the cultural and spiritual heritage of Pushkar, known for its famous Brahma Temple and vibrant annual fair. The close distance makes it easy to plan short trips.
Dislikes
- I am disappointed with the lack of respect some students have for our campus environment. Despite the efforts made by the college to provide a clean and pleasant space, it's disheartening to see garbage strewn around by individuals who clearly don't care about maintaining the beauty of our surroundings.
- I am quite dissatisfied with the current dining arrangements at our college mess. The strict time divisions for dinner, especially the rule that each year gets only half an hour to eat, create unnecessary stress. Juniors typically eat first, but if anyone arrives even a minute late, they are denied food and forced to wait an additional hour.
Remarks :
The admission process was pretty clear. You have to clear an entrance exam CEE (Common Entrance Exam). Through this examination merit list is prepared. Along with it the marks of class 12 also matter because the merit list is prepared by combining the 60% of CEE and 40% of class 12th. The application form can be found online by searching NCERT CEE. Talking about the application fees, it is 1000 rs. Here cut-off highly depends upon the state since there are 2 types of reservation category-wise as well as a state type. The admission is done by calling the students on campus for offline counselling. The students need to pay the fees on the same day to ensure their admission. The preparation for CEE generally requires 3 months. One can prepare by using online resources and NCERT also provides the previous year's question papers on its Website. One should practice the pedagogy subjects, language and general ability.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The B.A. B.Ed. The program is a professional Programme and it aims at producing fitted teachers of language and Social Science teaching at the secondary level. This is an innovative teacher education Programme. It provides training in methodology along with instruction in various content areas. The faculty is very knowledgeable and dedicated. There are permanent teachers as well as teachers that are on a contractual basis. Most of the permanent professors are PhD holders, and the contractual teachers are pursuing PhD along with teaching. There are 2 types of Exams Internal and External both are conducted regularly in a year and are generally easy. Talking about fees it is the bare minimum. As a lot of funds come from the central government. There is as such no fee hike policy. This college is eligible for NSP. Moreover, it allocates scholarships to the hostellers. All the students of SC, and ST categories and 50% of other students get selected for scholarships from the institute which is 8K every year.
Internships Opportunities :
We have a pre-internship programme in our 3rd year in different private and govt schools in Ajmer and other localities. Then we also have an internship program for 3 months in different Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in other states of north India. There is no stipend but the interns are provided with free accommodation facilities in schools. The interns need to prepare daily lesson plans and along with it, they need to maintain different records of activities conducted in school. The interns are given the TGT positions in their pedagogy subjects, they can teach students from 6th to 10th. Generally, there are 2 to 3 observations from the faculty of RIE during the internship. We need to perform like regular teachers of JNV. All the duties and responsibilities are provided to us. This internship developed our skills in teaching and fed our confidence in us so that we can teach and train more and more students after our graduation.
Placement Experience :
In the final year of the program of B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed. B.Ed. and M.Ed., all the students get an opportunity for campus placements. Many private schools such as Azim Premji Foundation, Birla Public School, DPS, Doon schools, Podar, Allons, Jindal, Ambuja and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya etc. The average package provided by schools is around 4 LPA. The highest and the lowest Salary are 60000/- and 30000/-. As most of the schools are residential so they provide Food and Accommodation facilities also. A very low percentage around 40% of students get placed. Most of the students including me, generally take admission in higher education.
Campus Life :
We have our annual Day in March and foundation day in September. Along with it, we have different celebrations of various festivals and freshers and the farewell party is organised. The library is pretty good with good seating arrangements and great books. The institute library is completely air-conditioned and fully digitalised. Our College is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and has smart screens in all classes. Inter house Cultural, literary and sports activities are conducted every year. The are two clubs BHUGYAN SOCIETY and SMEC which are official and run by a student committee. There are different buildings for girls' and boys' hostels. The size of the room is good. 1 room is allowed for 2 students there are two beds, two almirahs, and 2 chair tables. The Wi-Fi connection is there. The mess food is decent not very good not very bad. We were charged 34K for the mess and hostel rent, water and electricity. The menu of the mess is decided by the mess committee. Caution money of 1000 is deposited for hostel.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
