- In academics, this institute is best for anyone like in studies faculty. I think it is best to take admission in this institute rather than an university.
Dislikes
- the only thing due to I dislike this institute, it does not provide any campus life because all the blocks and hostals are on rent. And transportation charges in mizoram is very expensive.
Remarks :
Yes, I passed the JEE Mains exam because this is an NIT so it is governed by the central government. I got 89.47 percentile in 2022 and my rank was 94889. I think this was a low rank but due to the CORONA period, I got a seat in NIT Mizoram. In CSAB round 2, I got a seat in civil engineering at NIT Mizoram.
Course Curriculum Overview :
According to my rank I got a seat, but I did not have any specific choice to choose courses. I only wanted to get a seat in NITs. In the civil engineering department, all the faculties are highly educated some teachers are from IITs and other reputed colleges. all the exams like class tests, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams are conducted in a timely and the difficulty level depends on the faculty. it also depends on you and your mind. In Academics, I think NIT MZ is one of the best colleges. Due to government college, you will pay based on your family income I'm an OBC student with a non-creamy layer I paid Rs 20550 for one semester so I can complete my B.tech degree in almost less than 2 lakh. As you know this is a government college so you will get a scholarship. I got a scholarship of Rs 93450. name of the scholarship was "PM Yashshvi Scholarship". If you are a general student and your family income is more than 8 lakh per annum then you will not get any scholarship.
Internships Opportunities :
I am not searching for an internship at this time. I will try in the upcoming winter vacation. I want to learn more skills at this time. I completed my web development and Autocad software at this time. because I want to have skills in both streams like CSE and Civil engineering.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement, you must have a 6 CGPA or higher. But for better placement, you must have an 8 CGPA or higher because many companies have criteria like only those students can give interviews with those who have an 8 CGPA or higher. Top recruiters like L&T, Adobe, Ashok Leyland, and many others till now. the highest package is 20LPA till now this year and the average package is almost 8LPA. Till now, 45% of students have been placed. 28 students have been placed to date with Avishek Gope(CSE), Mukul Pathak(CE) etc. I want to get a good placement in a good company.
Campus Life :
NIT MZ has not had any campus till now. It is constructed. There are 4 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. but boys hostel 1 is best. NIT MZ has a cultural fest which is known as "ANUNAAD" and many more like Saraswati puja. The library is well stocked but sometimes we face problems with the availability of some books. NIT does not have any playground at the time of sports fest NIT rents a playground. An app, is known as the "NIT MZ student app" which is run by students of NITs. Outside the NIT, all things are very expensive you will get a room for Rs 6000 per month and all other things are also very expensive so you have to use a hostel. Food quality inside the hostel is very poor and is still improving over time. You have to pay Rs 13000 for the mess and Rs 2700 for the hostel every semester.

I chose chemistry because it is interesting for me,most of the professors have completed their phd and are associate professors few are Professor,the teaching method is good tho, For the exams,Final is conducted in may for the Even semester and November for the Odd semester, the difficulty of the exams are quite moderate

The faculties are quite good. The faculties are very knowledgeable and the teaching assistant present at the labs are also pretty helpful. So for the exam, in a semester there is a mid semester exam and an end semester exam. During end sems you will also have your practical exams

Campus placement option is available. All campus placement is done from Delhi campus. Professors and placement cell will help u get to it. You'll be able to make connections through various visiting professor which will help u to get internship.

Placements are good as it is an national institute of technology but in recent years placement is increasing year my year this is our senior got 44 lpa PPO from Microsoft and the average of cse is 12 lpa , ece is 10 lpa,

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen the physics course as I am interested in pursuing further education in the field of physics. All of the teaching as well as the non teaching staffs are very experienced with most of them having more than 20+ years of teaching experience. They have all cleared PhD and they are helping us pursue our further goals. For each unit we have in our syllabus, three very qualified professors are assigned to teach us that unit according to the topics they have their qualifications in. For every semester, there are a total of 3 internal examinations and an end semester final exam. The three mid semester exams are CAT-I, CAT-II and CAT-III. The CAT-I usually starts from the 3rd month after the commencement of a new semester. The CAT-II is held 1-2 montths after the CAT-II. The end semester exams are held at the 5th month of a semester.

There are no placements for science or arts. Some companies come for bba and bcom. But overall no one is placed. Some people get jobs but not a good job. They would get the same job if they don't do thisdegree too. Placements wise its 0.
