Remarks :
One of the Factors to join DSI is because Dayananda sagar is a well known and established college in Bengaluru. Apart from that the placements in campus are very good. I entered the college through entrance exam CET by KEA. Cutoff was above 10000 rank in CET. There were no group discussions or interviews conducted. Overall admission process was very smooth. During 12th we were given proper training to prepare for the exam CET through our college itself. Used some study materials daily a year to prepare for the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science and engineering is the course I chose because it had the highest scope for a job and even it's easy to get a job . Faculty in the college were decent not great yet worked perfectly for us since they gave the independence to do whatever we want. They were very friendly throughout the course. Teaching methods were through books and presentations . Exams were moderate in difficulty level and were regularly conducted. There was no fee hike throughout the course. I only applied for external Government scholarships like SSP which were approved easily by the college.
Internships Opportunities :
Virtusa offered a 3 months internship with 7k per month as stipend. Even there are many companies that work inside the campus that recruit for internships. First we were trained and then we're assigned projects and tasks. After completion we got our internship completion certificates.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria mainly is that should maintain 60% or above and to not have arrears throughout the course duration. There were totally 200+ companies that attended for campus recruitment, namely TCS, Virtusa , cognizant, Accenture etc. average package would be 6.5 LPA and the highest offered was 25 LPA. About 98% of students get placed. I would like to continue in job after getting the degree
Campus Life :
Campus is really beautiful with modern architecture. Fests and co curricular activities were conducted regularly and were usually carried out many times in a year. One of the fests were named " Adamya" . Library is huge and had lot of collection in it. For sports we had cricket ground, tennis ground, basketball ground, football ground etc. there were many social groups like astronomy club, literary club etc. I was a day scholar yet used to visit canteen regularly where food was decent.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
