I study at Vistwajyothi College of engineering vazaakulam, It is run by fathers. the overall campus life is decently good the bad aspect of my college is the leave system you would have to ask before getting leave and should submit leave letters. there are no freshers day at the college. admission to the campus is done by KEAM mark other ways are management quota which costs you additional money and the third option is via NRI which can cost up to 2L. There are no interview rounds to clear the admission desk everything is via seats. overall the admission process is not bad. There will be introductory classes for the freshers for a minimum of one week.
The reason I chose a bachelor's in information communication is because of the future scope this course has and the value you get from completing this degree. If I am to say the curriculum is too old to be updated to the new tech in the industry the scheme I'm studying is the 2019 scheme which will be too old when I graduate in the year 2027. But for the new batch of students, the curriculum is revised and is making improvements. The overall faculty review is based on individuals some are pro in their Subjects but some are only intermediate and are trying to improve alongside us. Some teachers still have an old mindset. STUDENTS CAN AVAIL scholarships if they are eligible through the team and can study without fees. Exams in this college are conducted frequently and the assessments are passed to the parents also. Students should prepare for their finals from the beginning. There are no fee hikes and students can avail of bank loans if they need to
The eligibility criteria depend on the company, the minimum requirements are should have a CGPA of 6 or above and should have the prior skills for the job. The few companies that visited are, techbee, TCS, HDFC, Bajaj etc. The highest package is around 6-8LPA and the lowest is 2LPA. the percentage of students getting placed is not more around 60% of students are being placed. My plan after this course is to get a high-paying job, and for that, I am trying my own to earn those skills on my own. The college does not make your job/future-ready you will have to do that on your own.
Campus life is not like any movie. Campus life is tough though to relax peers' minds cultural events are conducted and can perform activities. Recently we had tech/arts which was 4 days long, which was entirely fun it's not like the college doesn't have any programs. there is a student library that everyone can access to. the library has all the study material you need and has only a few books which are for reading purposes. There are many student clubs that you can join, there is also a Google Developer students club on the campus. The college has 2 grounds and 2 basketball courts which have a team in the college you can join the teams or play for fun on the campus. And about the college hostel which is inside the campus only has a ladies and men's hostel, the inside of the room is only good quality the total cost for three months is 14000+food, etc. overall the college hostel is also good.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
