- The college is pretty good in all aspects. The location of the college is very accessible to all in the city. The infrastructure of the college is good, it has well equipped pg and ug labs for all the branches.

Remarks :
Government dental college offers bachelor's and master's courses in dentistry. It is run by the government of Telangana. It is situated in the core of the city easily accessible by public transportation. Admission into this institute is done through the NEET examination which is an all-India level examination. The cutoff for the allotment of seats in this college varies every year, but a score of nearly 450 will easily fetch you a seat in this institute. This college offers 100 seats out of which 15% are available in all India quota and 85% are reserved for state quota students. Course Curriculum Overview :
A bachelor's in dental surgery is a graduation course to become a dentist. All the faculty are highly qualified dentists in the State with BDS and MDS degrees. Exams are conducted once a year after every academic year is over apart from the termly exams conducted by the college. The fees are almost constant which is less than 10,000 per annum. So the bachelor's course for 5 years will cost you 40,000 rupees only as per tuition fee and in the 5th year or your internship you will be paid.
Internships Opportunities :
In 5 years of dentistry, the 5th year is a compulsory Internship in the same college for which you will be paid by the government of Telangana. During the internship in the college, every student is posted in all the 9 branches and given clinical lessons throughout the year.
Placement Experience :
So after the bachelor's degree in the college, this college also offers pg courses in all the 9 branches of Dentistry. The seats in post-graduation courses are allowed through another all-India level post-graduation examination which is NEET MDS.
Campus Life :
The student organization of the college conducts 1 or 2 fests every year. Government dental college, Hyderabad offers a very good library with all the books on Dentistry. It has a very vast collection of books written by authors all over the world. The classrooms are equipped with a projector on which the classes are taken, with good furniture for the students to sit and fans and tube lights. Sports amenities on the campus are not much but still can be manageable if you are interested in any sports like Cricket and Badminton. Coming to the hostel facility, the hostels are good, the food is okay, and the facilities in the hostel are not very well but can be manageable. If you like to stay in a rented room or a PG you can search for one in the areas near such as Abids, Chikkadpally, etc.

The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
