- I like this college premises very much.Faculties are also very good here.As a government college, all very well qualified teachers are get promotions and all to have tha opportunity to teach in every govt college, so we will get good teachers as well.The infrastructure also good.Bathrooms are seperate for both girls and boys in every department .it is very clean and well maintained.Regular cleanings are also doing.Beyond CS there is EEE,ECE,IT,MECH departments are here.
- I like this college in many ways.This college is very beautiful.So everyone can really enjoy this.Good climate and premises will helps the students to get more fresh air and an environment to study well.
Dislikes
- As you know about idukki, the transportation facilities are very low here.My home is in kozhikode and there is no tarin in idukki. So there is only two ways to get here.One , we should get in bus for the entire journey from kozhikode to idukki and the second one is get in train from koxhikode to Aluva and wants to catch bus from there to idukki.Now im used to come here.But everyone feels very uncomfortable to come here first.
- Everone like to eat very much.But due to less developments , the food centres are very low here.Good hotels and foods are very low here.As a kozhikoden student we are very concerned in food,so im really adjusted to get into this track.But there is nice food centres also .
Remarks :
I was admitted to the Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in this government engineering college, Idukki through the KEAM ( Kerala Engineering and Architectural Medical ) Exam. After plus two, we can write this exam. There are separate coaching centres also for this. KEAM exam is to get admission in not only Engineering but also in medicine and agricultural fields. There are two parts to the KEAM exam- one is for architecture and the other for medicine, agriculture and engineering. Higher ranks in these will help us to get admission to very good colleges such as Trivandrum( CET), Kollam (TKM) etc…Actually, I came up with this course accidentally. For the past two years, I have been preparing for the NEET exam. But I can't score any good marks. At the same time, I wrote this KEAM exam also. So when I was nothing in NEET, this KEAM exam gave me a path to pursue my studies. So you also look at various fields to get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I said before I came up here accidentally. But I scored good marks in KEAM. In this engineering college, im took computer science as my stream. There is a lot to study here. As a biology student, I found it very difficult to study at first. Then as time goes I patch up it. As a government college, the fees are completely low here. Only 10000 per year. But for the hostel mess fess, it is 2000 per month. It is very low according to other colleges. Only 40 per day for the hostel here. In all government colleges, the teachers have the same quality. So no tensions about that. Here there are scholarships also. I got an OBC pre-metric scholarship which I am paying for my entire college such as exam fees, yearly fees and all. So it is very nice to get admission to a government college.
Internships Opportunities :
Now I'm studying in my second year.so It is not the time to apply for an internship. Next year I will be looking for that. I am doing many workshops online and offline. Many valued certificates also got. Many opportunities are here. Many companies like SF, TCS, and Infosys are here for job opportunities.
Placement Experience :
After completing my course I am ready to go for a placement. Here many placements are going on. As a computer science student, there are many job opportunities for us. So after completing it, I will try to get the placements. If not I keep trying to get that. Also parallely I will take the GATE exam to get admission to M tech in Computer science. There are many paths for our future. In this college, there is a placement cell for students. So we can improve our skills and also study how to prepare a CV. There are more placements in CS.
Campus Life :
In Idukki, the life of college is extremely beautiful. As the district is very close to nature, I love this place. A very good atmosphere to study. There are many fests conducted here such as arts fest, sports, tech fest, union day, freshers day and all. There is a good library also. Students are free to sit in the library during leisure periods. Teachers are very good at improving our extracurricular activities. I like badminton. I started my badminton career from here. Got second place in college and was selected to participate in an intercollege sports meet. Many clubs are here also to improve our skills, that is Querentia for drawing, Trecks for dancing, and Cassette for singing. So we can improve all our skills. Above this many technical clubs are also there like IEEE and IEDC. I'm staying here in a hostel. A good hostel and premises are there. Very clean and all. Twice a week there is cleaning also. Only 2000 per month for the mess and 40 per month for a hostel. Fees are very due to a government college. There is a warden also there.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
