The college is located in the heart of silicon valley i.e. Bangalore. The college has good state diversity and male-female ratio, which makes it different from other colleges. The admission process is very simple, if you are another state student then you have to take the ComedK exam and if you are from Karnataka then you have to take KCET to get admission. Other than this you can take admission through Management quota which has very high fees, so better if you pass the exam and then take admission. No GD or Interview is there for admission.
Our college is autonomous, so they have their syllabus, not the VTU one which is so old. In any branch, you can get 3 institutional elective courses which will help you in your placements. But also the curriculum of the college lacks practical application and mostly theory. Most of the faculties in our college are PhD holders but they lack in other topics other than their specialisation. The academics of the college are quite good as you can easily score well if you study well during exams. The students from other states don't get any scholarships but the local students can avail of scholarships given by the Karnataka government. The fees for Comedk students are - around 1000000 for my year now it is 1200000 in total. For KCET students the fees are around 400000 in total.
I have received an internship opportunity with Full-time offer at Tata Elxsi. In an internship, the roll is Trainee only. In the 8th semester, almost every company that came for campus recruitment offered an Internship before full- time roll. Before 8 th semester college doesn't allow internships or any other work experience.
The placements of our college were good till last year but in 2024 due to the recession and also the pool campus ( merging 3 campus students) the placements are not that good compared to last year. In previous years most of the students used to have more than 1 offer but this year it is bad. The average placement is 4.5 lpa for the college but if you are from CSE / ISE and CS related branch and also ECE then the average placement is 7 lpa. Due to poor placement, the civil, mechanical, and aviation-like branches don't have placements. My branch has also faced a dip in placement as the percentage is 60% of placed students.
College life is chill and light as many clubs are present in college. Clubs like drama, dance, singing, event management, painting etc. The college also has a coding club for coding enthusiasts. Every year two times, inter-bra cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments are organised and the performers get a chance for inter-college tournaments. The college has a very big fully centralised AC library having books for each journal and you can find any book there. There are a lot of ebooks also available in the library which you can read for your exams. The college has two hostels, International and Indian, the International one is like very good and modern and has good food also, while the Indian hostel is not spacious and also doesn't have good food. Hostel fees for International hostel - 160000 per year whole Indian - 100000 per year.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
