- I like the teaching of staffs and placements majorly.
- And personally i love the nature of REC environment and its infrastructure
Dislikes
- I dislike is that this college is somewhat strict over entertainment sometimes
- And the other one is sometimes there will be tight schedule to complete your project.
Remarks :
I was looking out for the colleges which are well good for biomedical department. REC is the top most choice i had. They have a very good environment .Coming to placements they give greater importance to place all the students in well versed companies. And i came through management quota so i didn't have any interviews or written tests . But some people add some tests but i wont be so deep .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a great interest on merging medicine and engineering and that is the reason i choosed biomedical engineering.The faculties of REC and my department staffs are very much knowledged and completely helped us throughout 4 years.They share their vast knowledge to us and department conducts many workshops and seminar for developing us.And their teaching method is perfect and they always share many knowledge other than curriculum subject,The exams will happen monthly once which is called as CAT and it won't be so difficult to score good marks.The fees is currently so high but it is worth to study in this college.They are providing us tones and tones of practice session for placement.
Internships Opportunities :
S i did 3 internships ,They helped us to do our internship in biovision medical systems which was very much useful to us to know about many equipments and its uses and secondly we went to prsahan medical technologies coimbatore which was obsolutely useful where we were able to jnow both the exterior setup and interior connections of all the equipments and we learn't how to use all those equipments.
Placement Experience :
Coming to placements seriously they gave us tones and tones of practice session we attended many training sessions for aptitude and technical classes to crack interviews .Also they gave us personality development classes to improve ourself .No arrear students and single arrear students can opt for this.Core companies often visits our college and IT companies will start coming from 6 th semester onwards.Maximum package for IT is 60-70 thousand per month and for core based companies maximum is 40-50 thousand. Recently i had decided to do master's so currently im not in placements.
Campus Life :
REC is a green college.Full of fresh air and very peaceful environment which brings us calmness. Our college has more than 10 clubs like rotract club,leo club,SEDS club and etc.And the infrastructure is so good developed many new buildings currently.Also they give equal importance to extracurricular activities ,sports and cultural fests.Though im not a hosteler but we all stayed in hostel twice for placement purpose ,hostels are well and good and the food is also not too bad.

There are campus placement from both native country and from abroad.But mostly for computer science course people are benefitted that time.mechanic and electronics and communication course face difficulty in campus placement.

We provide high package placement of 21 LPA and the lowest package is 2LPA. We provide many internship to make the students to learn more skills and develop it. They provide internships at 2 semester

For placements one should not have any active backlogs and shouldn't have been involved in any misconduct. Some recruiters who visited are Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, PWC. The no of offers made by PWC for the batch 2020 were 75. Highest Package: 1.2Cr Average Package: 8-12Lpa

Placement Experience :
Basic eligibility criteria is to have cgpa above 7. Compared to last year fewer students got placed this year. Major mnc companies and startups came as recruiters. Highest package was of 8 lpa and the minimum package was of 3.5 lpa

We will be eligible for placements from 3rd year and numerous companies will come for giving jobs. Eligibility criteria varies for different companies where some ask for all clear and some ask for no history of arrears. In mechanical nearly 80% got placed previous year. Package may be less for some of them starting at 4.5 LPA.
