Likes
- The infrastructure mainly looks like Goa's locality. But the design of the building and the classrooms are very good. All the classrooms are well-finished.
- Here also a waterfall is available near the campus.
Dislikes
- The food is not very good enough which is what anyone expecting from IITs.
- The distance between the airport and the campus is around 30km which takes time to reach the airport from campus after a semester.
Remarks :
IIT GOA is a new-generation college which is established in 2016. So this college has the best faculty members and all the faculty are well-graduated from the best college and intellectual. If anyone wants to come to IIT GOA, they first qualify for the jee mains entrance exam and then for the advance with good rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My future dream is to work in ISRO(Indian Science and Research Organization), so I chose Mechanical Engineering. All the faculty are well qualified and very intellectual. And also the teaching methods are the best thing in this IIT. In 3-4week there is a quiz after that there is a mid sem and after that again a short quiz is held and then the final exam of the whole semester happens. Various types of scholarships like the Aspire scholarship, Reliance scholarship, etc are available to students at this campus.
Internships Opportunities :
Here also many students got their desired internship with that company's required skills. Like Google, Microsoft gives us the internship opportunities. If anyone wants to do a project then also they can proceed with projects in various types of experiments.
Placement Experience :
As I know from a senior of this college, they said if you scored more than 7.5CGPA then you may have a good chance to get placed at good companies. Very big companies like Google, Microsoft, and various MNC companies, and also core companies like Reliance, Unilever, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, L&T, General Electric, Tata Motors, etc are coming to our campus to give us the various job opportunity.
Campus Life :
The best thing about this campus is the campus life with various and great friends. And the hostel life is the best moment in the life of an engineer. Here various types of clubs are present like sports clubs, Acting clubs, dancing and singing clubs, Art and painting clubs, coding clubs, web development clubs, Motor-sports clubs, etc. Food is not best for everyone because here the food type is south-Indian but it is not bad. If anyone from the South then he loves the food at the mess. Here if anyone wants to take a rented then he also takes a rented room at Ponda which is a 3km distance from the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
