- I like the course, I like the outlook of college, place is peaceful and calm. Faculties are mostly friendly and approachable.
- Principal is very supportive and also a great achiever, he supports is in every way possible.
Dislikes
- Its quite strict, outings and other such matters are quite strict we need to take permission for everything
- Getting holiday and going home is quite a hectic task.
Remarks :
This is the first and top Naturopathy college in India, whenever I enquired someone about this course all of them suggested this college. I have joined here through the KCET govt seat, so for me cost is 60k/year, but management seat fee is what I have mentioned above in the tuition fee section. The Hospital, Shantivana has a vet good patient inflow so we have a lot of exposure to practicals which is very important in any medical course. Along with academics, our opportunities for culture and sports are too good here. When it comes to teaching it is good but we have to kind off manage ourselves too, teaching is good yet our efforts matters more than that. Karnataka students can write KCET and secure their govt seat with a good ranking and students from other states have to choose a management seat. Usually, seats are filled very early so it's better to book the seat in advance. One should pursue 12th with a combination of PCB and secure a minimum of 45% in the same Overall it's a good college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in this system and yoga. Faculties are highly qualified either BNYS doctors or subject experts who have master's degrees in the respective subject. Teaching method differs from subject to subject and teacher to teacher. However in a medical course, we need to put in effort, we also have smart classes with projectors and occasionally we have guest lectures where faculties are called from outside. Also, several workshops and seminars are conducted which are of great benefit to students.
Internships Opportunities :
There is one year compulsory internship included in the course. Course is total 5.5 years, where 1 year is compulsory internship. That is 4.5 + 1 year. During Internship we are posted to different hospitals, other than shantivana we are also posted to kshemavama in Bengaluru soukyavana in udipi and also a few other hospitals.
Placement Experience :
Right after BNYS one can apply for a job in any nature cure hospital or start practicing on their own, however pursuing anMD in the same would be beneficial. We can also choose to work in the field of research, our alumnis are also placed in AIIMS Delhi in the research area. We can also work on cruises as acupuncturist, we can work as yoga therapist, nutritionists etc. We will be learning various therapies, yoga during our course we can apply that and excel in any field or can give a combination of treatments. Our system focuses of the root cause rather than curing the symptoms and that too without any side effects. So I believe it is a noble profession. Income if we talk about it, after BNYS one can earn from 30k/month to lakhs together per month. After MD one can earn 50k/month to lakhs. Income depends on our excellence and our efforts. We have alumni who are even earning more than 15 lakhs per month.
Campus Life :
We have a quite strict hostel where in outing is allowed for 2 days in a week. We have a ground nearby for sports, food is adjustable at hostel and nearby there are few restaurants and shops. Ujire is not a big city, it's a small town and can't expect any malls or theatres. Mangaluru is the nearest big city. Hostel fees are around 25-30k per year rooms are decent enough and the mess bill is approx 3k/month. It's affordable and not expensive. The library has numerous books, many cultural events take place and sports too, national lever sports and yoga contests are conducted.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
