- The campus has good infrastructure. Each department has a separate block. Each block has several labs which are equipped with the necessary number of systems for the students to work on. Other than that the campus is well maintained and beautiful.
- Peer Group: The student is surrounded by a good peer group. The general trend is to opt for higher studies and the institute has a good track record in competitive exams like GATE,CAT etc.
Dislikes
- As it is a 3rd tier college, the opportunities pertaining to placements are limited.
- The coding culture that one expects in a college is somewhat missing.
Remarks :
The good aspects of IET DAVV are: Great peer group Great environment and motivation for pursuing higher studies. The general trend at IET, DAVV is to pursue higher studies whether it be MTech, MBA or anything for that matter. The support from the faculties and the peer group makes the preparations easier. Other than that there are good placement options available for students who wish to take a job after graduation. There are several clubs in the college which promote an overall holistic development of the personality. The institute has an appreciable record in Hackathons and actively promotes students to participate in them. The institute is has a good infrastructure. There are separate blocks for each department. Each department has their own labs equipped with necessary number of systems for students to work on. The bad aspects of the institute are: It is a 3rd tier college. Thus opportunities are unfortunately limited when it comes to placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum: The curriculum for each course is available on the official website of IET DAVV (ietdavv.edu.in). The curriculum is well up to date with industrial standards. Faculties: Faculties have great knowledge in their respective subjects and classes are more or less regular in manner. The time table is religiously followed especially in the 1st and 2nd years after which it is a bit lax as the students start their preparations for some other exams or start with internships and placements preparations. Fees: Fees is approximately 45000 for each semester which makes it 90000 for each year and approximately 360000 for the complete course. Scholarships: The institute provides scholarships under the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana.
Internships Opportunities :
3rd and 4th year students are eligible for internships. Students opt for on campus and off campus internships both. The Placement Cell begins its process since 3rd year for internships and placements. Clubs like E-Cell and GDSC can help you get internships as well.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements is typically decided by the companies. But an unsaid rule that is followed is minimum of 7.5 CGPA to qualify for the written rounds of companies. The institute has a record of 100% placements since many years. There are several students holding multiple job offers. There are several companies like Capgemini, LTS , Deutsche Bank, Incedo and many else. The average package that a student can avail 8 lakhs approximately.
Campus Life :
The institute and the people here give you a wholesome engineering experience, be it academics, sports or any other extra curricular activity. There are many events that are organised every year with great enthusiasm. Two such events are Engineers' Day which is celebrated on the 15th of September and Aakshank which is the annual college fest celebrated around October. Aakshank consists of many competitions, food from the best stalls of Indore and concerts that leave you mesmerized. The sports week is held in the month of December or January where each branch competes in various indoor and outdoor sports. There are many social clubs which aim for an overall and holistic development of personality. Prominent clubs include E-Cell IET, GDSC IET, Feedbox , Pratyaksh and more. The website of E-Cell IET DAVV is one maintained solely by the students. The hostel rooms are decent and hygienic. A room is shared by two students.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
