The main factor that made me choose this college is my neet score which was not enough to secure a government seat. Apart from that this college was one of the top ranked college on India, so despite being a deemed college, it was a good choice.
First of all, JSSMCH is a deemed University sothe tution fee is a bit much. But apart from that the college provides first class lectures and practical/clinical experience. They conduct theory and practical classes on a daily basis with daily visit tovthe hospital from 2nd year. The provide first hand experience of dealing with patients and understanding the course from an early stage. Overall it's a good college to pursue medical degree.
I have little knowledge about this one since I'm still in 2nd year. But as far as I have heard, currently the internship is 40k per month and has to be done in jss hospital itself for one year. If u don't wanna do the internship here, then I think u will have to pay some amount to opt out if it.
The college provides many clubs to be a part of. The social life is good if u know how to make food friends. As far as I know, ragging cases are not there. Hostel facilities were good (girls) but the food was average(as expected of any other hostel). The accomodation fees for hostel is affordable and maybe better than renting a flat outside campus . The campus is spacious, with clean roads and greenery, which provide a sensenif leave for a random evening stroll across the campus. The annual fest if the college is a one week event and has many activites along with ethnic day. Library is also available in the campus with all the necessary books present in good condition and a quiet reading space and separate study rooms with good Wi-Fi.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
