- Campus Life is very good there is freedom.
- Infrastructure is good individual blocks for engineering and management, and amenities like sports grounds, library,food stalls, auditorium, big parking in ground, and one outside the other entrance, Xerox shop.
Dislikes
- Nothing to dislike as such for me my 3 years of college was very enjoyable and good experience
Remarks :
New horizon college marathalli has a very good campus firstly, it has lots of amenities there are sports grounds a big football ground, 2 basketball grounds, one indoor games room with a dance stage,a big library common for engineering as well as management students,and another seperate library lots of eatery stalls and one Udupi restaurant cafe cofee day with lassi shop, and there is an event called sargam that happens every year and it's very famous one. I mainly joined because there was no management seat or any extra cost for my bachelor of computer applications degree but college fees of 85000 per year for 3 years of bca. And mainly there is an anti ragging squad hence ragging isn't encouraged. Also there is college bus service.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum was very much apt for bca and we've learnt all types of programming languages like c, c++, Java, SQL, visual basic, machine learning, Unix etc also we had taken professional package hence we had an extra cisco course that was there 2 days a week. The faculties where very cooperative and very knowledgeable. Their method of teaching was very good.
Placement Experience :
There's placement provided by the college and there are quite a good number of companies to give interview we'll be added to a placement group, but if there is any backlog these students will not be eligible for placement.
Campus Life :
College campus is huge and all types of facilities name it it's there sports, food, studies. Social life is very free here there is no restriction like boys girls can't be together and all. As per the infrastructure there is 3 grounds a football ground, 2 basketball grounds, 2 libraries, 1 big auditorium in management department, one snacks restaurant, one Udupi restaurant with lassi shop. There is a hostel mess for hostel students. The food quality is very good and hygienic.there is sargam conduct in November or December.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
