I had written the keam and jee entrance exams. but I couldn't score a higher rank as I am not a repeater. I don't want to lose my valuable year repeating, and my ambition was to do a computer based job and study.so I worked for it. so I decided to do my bachelor's in a private college.so I discussed the matter with my parents and friends. They give suggestions and advice. looking deeply I reached scms. I got a nice impression from my first sight of the college. I love the atmosphere there. Talking about the admission process it is simple. The eligibility is to pass the team and have a good plus two s. In the beginning, I couldn't cope with the course, but gradually I adapted. It is an education-based college. Hence the fests and programs are low.
I chose this course as it was my dream to attain a com job, in the IT field. it's my passion. The major advantage here is the quality of the teachers here. All of them are well qualified. most of them had already attained phd and doctorates. Their way of teaching is quite impressive. all of them are well coordinated. they not only teaches us modules but also the life principles we need to follow in our life. the course is tough. exams are conducted timely. two internals and one sem exam officially and class tests apart. the fees are a little high for management students like me but there is not much hike in it. but if you have a good rank in the keam it's easy to attain a merit seat, which is more manageable financially.
The major disadvantage I felt here is the shortage of fests. as I said it is a study-ba college, so fests are low. I am a first-year student I attended the Onam celebration in august, Freshers Day in September, the Christmas celebration in December, IV in February, and an art day in May. the campus provides a high-quality library which is the centre of attraction of the college. all books are provided there. it's very calm and peaceful there. the college promotes arts and sports actively. daily practice sessions are held for sports like football, cricket, kabbady, volleyball, etc. Various competitions are also held to compete with themselves. the clubs here are more actively working. they work socially and academically. The clubs are ieee, nss, tinkerhub, etc. I am a day scholar. but the food in the canteen is super delicious. we get good quality food at less expense. My friends said that hostel life is super enjoyable and entertaining.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
