- The thing I most like about my college is the infrastructure and the freedom compared to other private engineering colleges in Kerala.
- The second thing I like most about my college is the friendly nature of the facilities and the food placement statistics.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about my college is that the uniforms are compulsory.
- The second thing I dislike the most is the curfew to enter the hostel before 8 pm.
Remarks :
The main factors that made me choose this college was it's infrastructure,lab facilities and great placement statistics for computer science and engineering. I had written the KEAM entrance exam to get into this college. I got a rank of 6218 for KEAM. This rank was sufficient for me to get into fisat in the first allotment itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Fisat comes under the APJAKTU University. Around 99% of the engineering colleges come under this University. The course curriculum is a little outdated as the industry standards are very high compared to the course curriculum. The teaching methods are almost the same as all the engineering colleges in Kerala. The facilities are well-qualified and quite friendly to students. In a semester there will be two series of exams and one university exam. The difficulty level of the exam is easy to medium. The college itself is providing so many scholarships and all the other scholarship granted by the government are also available. I have a wave in my fees about 25000 based on my families annual income and my KEAM rank.
Internships Opportunities :
Software gaints like IBM had currently selected two of my classmates as interns and there are selected to work with the cloud research department and are offered a stipend of rupees 30000 per month. The intership duration is for 6 months and the college provide facility to attend the intership without spoiling your academics. The college is also providing intership from various other companies.
Placement Experience :
All the candidates without any backlogs are eligible for placements. The placement statistics are quite good. TCS has visited our campus and around 75 offers were made. The package offered by TCS were of 3 types the 1st one with 3.5 lakhs per annum was the ninja. The 7 lakhs per annum package is offered for students selected for Digital and the 9 lakhs per annum package is offered for students selected for prime category. Most of the students were offered as software developers. Around 90% of the 2024 computer science batch were placed. My current plan is to crack numerous offers from the college. I am a placement cell coordinator and I know much about the placements in our college and I assure that the placement statistics of our college is amoung the top 5 colleges under APJAKTU.
Campus Life :
There are two main fests in our college the 1st one is the BHARATHAM, it is the cultural fest and the NAUTILUS.Fisat has a great Library with a huge availability of books and journals. The class rooms are quite spacious with good ventilation and lighting. FISAT is very much active for the sports. FISAT volleyball team and basketball team are the current champions of the University and me myself is a part of the FISAT volleyball team. The management is giving good support for sports and other extracurricular activities. The various clubs in the college include IEEE,ISTE,ACM,ASME etc. All the student clubs are very much active. I am a hosteler and I am very much satisfied with the food and accommodation of the hostel. A room is shared by three people and the food is above average compared to other colleges. The hostel rent is rupees 10500 for six months and the food cost around rupees 135 per day. Various PG are also available near the college.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
