Government College, Less tuition fee of less than 10k per semester. Feel good campus. Also, there is a compulsory All India Industrial Visit for the students and a part of the expense is taken by the college itself.
I chose this college mainly because the course was within my budget. The course fee is comparatively less compared to other engineering colleges. A semester consists of 100 days and sometimes there is a lag. Besides the government scholarships, there is also a merit-based University scholarship available.
There is a mandatory internship in the last year which can either be done in the 7th or 8th semester. The internship is 100 days and a stipend is provided by the college. The internship is done in top companies such as Milma, Amul, Nestle, Brittania, etc.
Our seniors were placed in various top industries such as Nestle, Tetra Pack, Amul, Lazza, Wilma, etc. Some of them are placed in the government sector. Some alumni had also started their businesses. Some are pursuing higher studies at top Universities.
We celebrate various days such as national Milk Day, world Milk Day, World Food Safety Day, World Food Day, etc and some of these programs are a week long. We conduct public surveys and awareness about various topics in the food sector. We have an excellent library which also contains an e-library. Sports events are conducted annually and there are gyms, indoor badminton courts, table tennis, and ground where students can practice. There are various clubs such as music, dance, drama, debate, etc for nurturing the talents of students. An Art's Day is conducted annually. The students have excellent accommodation and mess faculty. The mess fees are less comparatively.
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.
Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
2 or 3 job fairs will happen per year all major companies will arrive good placements recruitment is based in interview and other activities you involved in college a good grade Is required people's from outside the college can participate in this job fairs
