- The college has very good physical education department.
- The college has very large library which was inaugurated recently.
Dislikes
- The college has very average college canteen
- The college doesn't provide much internship opportunity.
Remarks :
I always wanted to pursue computer engineering and I came to know that GCE Kannur is one of the best in Kerala. I appeared for the KEAM examination and cleared the cut-off and joined the college. I prepared for KEAM along with class 12.
Course Curriculum Overview :
GCE Kannur has enough permanent government faculties. All Faculties are highly qualified and have PHD in their respective field. There are 2 term exams in each semester which can be easily tackled. As the college is government, fees are very low and affordable.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for internship at IBM Skill build. Thought the college doesn't provide much internship opportunity. The college sometimes provides internships at top colleges through alumni network. Most students opt for online internship.
Placement Experience :
Our college had a good placement unit earlier and now it has been reduced. The highest package was 12 LPA and average package is 5LPA. Around 50 percent students in computer science department gets placed in campus itself. I am planning for pursuing higher studies.
Campus Life :
Our college has a big campus around 75 acres. College has many learning clubs such as IEEE, ISTE, Robocek etc. The college has a very good sports department and also competes in various competitions. The college has hostel for both girls and boys which has a very good ambiance.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
