- The library is really good. Where there's lots of helpful books that we can refer for our studies.
- Campus life is couldn't be better. Some of the faculties are really good that they think about our work life too rather than just academics.
- The gymnasium of the college is quite good. It's facilities are good.
- The college is developing. There are new buildings raising up for more departments.
Dislikes
- Lack of facilities for both academics and extracurricular.
- Faculty who doesn't pay enough attention to the student's education.
- Bad basketball court. Lack of physical education support.
Remarks :
I wanted to get into a government Engineering College after I finished secondary studies. As searching about various colleges Government Engineering College Wayanad seemed to be the least good College among government colleges. I have enrolled in the government Engineering College Wayanad by attending and getting a 20294 rank in the KEAM entrance examination. It was the only government College I would get with that rank. Idukki was there too yet it was kind of far from home. I attended the team exam just by my 12th knowledge and the cutoff rank to get into the best College, CET was below 1000 or something.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I have selected is electronics and communication as today's world is getting developed day by day and the scope of this certain course also seems like getting higher. The curriculum is good yet felt somewhat outdated. Academics is kind of stressful and about Faculties, not everyone but some of them are making us get into really stressful situations sometimes by giving extra workloads and short duration to complete it. Despite scholarships being said to be given to every deserving student, it is not getting done sometimes or it's being delayed.
Placement Experience :
Placement is not available in my college but it's getting improved as we are getting Placement opportunities outside the college. But it is really rare for students to get campus Placement. The placement cell is said to be opening in the next academic year. And as it's quite improving our seniors are getting placed in some good companies.
Campus Life :
Campus life is not enjoyable as as I thought before. The academic stress is making it hard to enjoy college life. Some clubs are active yet some clubs are not active at all. It is just okay overall. I'm a College hostel inmate. The facilities here are good but sometimes the food is not good. But in some of the outside PGs are is awful than this.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
