- I really like the campus of the college as it is very open. There canteen also has great food.
Dislikes
- What is dislike about the college is there is no stability of faculties in the 1sy year. New teachers keep coming and leaving. But that issue will be resolved as you move on to 2nd year as the senior faculties are quite stable.
Remarks :
The factors to choose this college were comparison to other colleges in the city. Another big reason was the shift of the college to a new location with a new building and everything new infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason to chose this course was the flexibility to choose the course of higher studies after the course ended. As this is a professional course with many things related to biology taught, a master's can be done in more or less any biology-related field. All the faculties are qualified with at least an M.Pharm degree. There are also Phd. teachers along with PhD students teaching the junior semesters. The exam schedule of PESU is very strict and followed according to the calendar. There are 2 internal exams and 1 End semester exam. The fee hike for students through the exam KCET ( state entrance exam) is 5thousand rupees every year. The miscellaneous costs will depend on the way of life you lead during college time. There are 2 main scholarships given to top 5% and top 20% of students. There is also a distinction scholarship of 2000 given to students above 7.5 CGPA.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements are not well discussed with students yet. The placements after B.Pharm are slim but still exist as PES is a college with good connections. But the salary expectations shouldn't be high as this is a low-paying course right after graduation. After higher studies, you can look at an increase in your salary. My plans after graduation are to take the GPAT and other higher education competitive exams.
Campus Life :
There are a total of 2 fests of PESU. One in the Electronic City campus in the Evensem(where the college is located). Another fest takes place in the RR Nagar campus during the odd sem (that campus is quite far). The library is well equipped with books related to the course along with books for the GPAT competitive exam after B. Pharmacy. The Amenities in class is a huge TV for teachers to display PPTs and videos. There is also free wifi for students in classrooms. Other amenities are basics like a bench fan and lights. There are dedicated areas for different sports in the MRD auditorium. There is a running track, 4 badminton courts, indoor games, a basketball court, and the biggest attraction of all, the huge cricket ground of the EC campus. The club culture of PES is good as the clubs are combined with other branches on the campus. I have friends living in PGS and the college hostel. The college hostel for the 1st year is 6 km away and there is a bus service every day to and from the hostel.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
