- I like the teaching experience. Most of the faculties being experienced is a good thing which I like.
- I like the presence of various clubs and commities which the college has, in which I could actively participate apart from the studies.
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is old school and not well maintained which I don't like
- There's no placement opportunities in the college which is something that is bad about this college
Remarks :
This college had the right combination for me, that is B.Sc in biotechnology, biochemistry and microbiology which made me select the college. Additionally during admissions received public opinion about the college having professional teaching methods and laboratory facilities which also made me select the college. For admission, there is no specific entrance exam to be taken. Students with more than 50% marks in 12th or 2nd puc can take admissions, and students who have scored greater than 85% and 90% can claim scholarships.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college curriculum is well-organized, and the syllabus framed helps students thoroughly gain knowledge regarding a specific discipline. Most of the faculty are professional and well-experienced and some are even PhD holders while some of the faculty are mediocre. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to enhance students' learning experience. The term exams are timely and are not too easy not too difficult. Fees were constant throughout the course, about 41000 early so for a three-year bachelor program the cost of study will come to around 125000 rupees. Students can make use of the SSP scholarship program offered by the government of Karnataka.
Internships Opportunities :
Had taken up a summer short internship in CMER laboratory Mysore which was recommended by one of the faculty, in which various advanced laboratory techniques were learned. The college itself doesn't provide any internship opportunities
Placement Experience :
The college has the least placement opportunities. Every year placement drive is conducted put the packages grabbed by the students are less than 2.5Lpa which is often rejected by the students, also the number of students that get selected is a handful.
Campus Life :
Not a great campus, contains all the basic infrastructure needed but is poorly maintained. Every year or two a grand fest is conducted around July - Maham Fest. But the college has various clubs and communities which the students can enrol and work for which will help a lot in their future The college promotes sports very well and is known for its accomplishments in the sports tournaments every year in the city. I have not opted for the hostel as I stay in Mysore itself but peer opinion tells me the hostel is not so great

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.

We do see companies and lot of posters inside campus of placements Cgpa with above 8 are dligible for placements here and usually 4th year students are eligible Student named abhinav choudry was offered 52LPA last year from AIML and by company called AMD And in 2020 someone got placed 45lpa from amazon 52lpa was the highest here And the average for my course is around 6-7 lpa Percentage of students getting placed is around 65-80% rest do degree or may not be placed My plan is do m tech after getting degree here
