Remarks :
you must qualify for the jee mains exam and then get a good rank in the Jee advance exam to get into Iit Patna in my time general cut-off rank was 1,500-15,000 to get into our college. you can see the detail cut-off ranks for each branch on the Josaa website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have a common course for first-year students for all branches from 2nd year all students then have courses under their branches. Usually each semester for each course we have 2 quizzes with 20% weightage one mid-sem 30% weightage and one end-sem exam with 50% weightage. the weightage criteria and several quizzes can be changed by faculty teaching that course if they want but generally, the given criteria are followed.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement opportunities are offered to 7th-semester students. The selection criteria depend on the company for placement. For 2024 our student's average package was 22 LPA and approx. 60% of students got placed both off and on-campus placement.
Campus Life :
IIT Patna mainly conducts 3 fests that are INFINITO sports fest of the college conducted in October CELESTA tech fest of the college conducted in November and the ANWESHA cultural fest of our college conducted in February. Also, there are various tech, cultural, and sports clubs run by students to engage in co-curricular activities along with studies.

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
