Good college with pretty good placements and campus like

- I life the campus life to be here it’s like you have you are really in a college it’s not like restrictions and all you are free to do anything within the rules
- I like the placement stats of my college.The opportunities that are provided are more than enough to get into something
Dislikes
- The thing i dislike about is that there are cell phone jammers in college so you can’t use your phone can’t even make call in some places it’s really annoying
- The second thing I dislike is that the attendance criteria of 75% you have to complete you minimum attendance of 75% otherwise you will not able to write exams and this is soo frustrating
Remarks :
I cleared the JEE MAINS examination to get into this college my JEE score was not that good enough to get into some NIT or some other colleges so I had a very limited choice so I chose this college as it is in Chandigarh the beautiful city and a pretty good placement stats.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I completed my first year now I had to study all the basic subjects like physics , maths and all but in 2nd year the real thing begins as i discussed with my seniors (seniors are helpful) told me that basic skills for the placements will be tough and you have put some efforts yourself too if you want a good placement, All the basic facilities are there like computer lab, All the instruments and hardware, library, university transportation (not free) the fees are also very low and on top of that you can also apply for scholarships and there are a lot of them.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in my 1st year I didn’t get any internship (also applied for none) but as I see my seniors they get internships and PPO. Like placements, internships also have the same thing you have to make some effort to grab the opportunity college will provide you with many opportunities at last it’s up to you if you can grab them
Placement Experience :
Placement are pretty good in this department everyone gets the placement except those who did nothing if just try a little you will get placed. But if you try from the 2nd or 3rd year to get a good placement then you can also grab a very good placement the placement cell is very supportive you get proper training and workshops on interview prep and all at last it all depends on you how much you can give.
Campus Life :
Panjab University is known for its campus and you will not regret getting into this university for the campus life know don’t know when my 1st year passed. Hostels are pretty decent, Mess food is not so like you can only live on that food something like that. The whole campus has wifi including the hostel but depends if your room has the range of the wifi (ethernet connection in the room is not provided this is the only disadvantage of the hostel other than this all good) Hostel is also not far away from the department.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
