One of the top government colleges in Kerala and the course contains biology subjects which are of my interest. The college and teaching are very good but lack placement opportunities for the particular course since only a few related companies come to the college. More than 20 IT companies come to college for placement. So if interested the college would be best to study. Cultural fest, sports, celebrated... are well conducted in college along with very standard education. The admission is through Keam entrance exam.
The first year contains common subjects for all branches like maths, physics, and chemistry. From the second year onwards core subjects are taught such as molecular biology, Bioprocess, Microbiology, Fluid flow, Cancer biology... The faculties are best.
Colleges do not provide any Internships but can do Internships at HLL, CSIR, RGCB...Mini projects can be done at HLL. I have done an Internship at RGCB(Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology ). These provided me with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, Bradford assay, rna isolation.
For this particular course placement opportunity is comparatively less. Only 2 or 3 companies come to campus. For branches like CS, ECE has a high chance for placement. The student must not have arrears for attending placement for most companies. But some companies allow a maximum of two arrears. Placement cell provides 1 week course to train students to attend placement.
Promotes all kinds of activities sports, arts, and celebrations. The infrastructure is also well maintained and lab facilities are available. A floor library is available. Classrooms have presentation facilities and projectors. The only lacking is a college ground. Hostel facilities are available but I have chosen PG as I have a relative there who helped me with that.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
