Likes
- College environment is good , 400 mts track along with ground. Basket ball ground. Volley ball ground
- Campus life is very interesting, with in 4 and half years we had enjoyed a lot with seniors , juniors
- Faculty is well and good and show their excellence and share their experiences in their life.
Dislikes
- Their is no proper facilities in the hostel ( taps , water , fans etc ..)
- Some of the cultural activities and other non academic activities are not encouraging by the university
Remarks :
We have been admitted to this college through web counselling and, state exam EAMCET. At the time of our counselling, minimum marks should be scored out of 160 according to the category. Overall 3 colleges (Tirupati, product, and Gannavaram) I chose Gannavaram College as many of the students who studied at Gannavaram gave better reviews out of 3 colleges. Coming to the college of Gannavaram the study is excellent but the non-academic activities are very poor.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did a long-term course in BiPC for one year to get a seat in MBBS, I wrote the NEET exam, as well as I, also attempted the state exam EAMCET. Unfortunately, I missed the MBBS as I scored less marks. But I scored well in EAMCET so, I joined this course as my next choice. Faculty should have with PhD in the particular subject and their teaching way is excellent... Each subject professor and head of the department will show their excellence in expressing their subject. Up to 2016 there was a semester type of system in the examination after 2016 annual exams were done and 3 internals (mid-terms) were conducted out of the 3 internals, the best of the 2 will be considered and added up as a percentage in the board annual exams. The yearly fee will be there and changed according to the year of study.
Internships Opportunities :
In the academic course, there will be one year of internship where 4 months will be the rotation and the remaining 8 months should work in the veterinary dispensaries which are allotted by the college faculty. Daires(Sangam Dairy, Vishakapatnam dairy ), slaughterhouses, externship for other state. But the worst side of an internship is a stipend. There is no hike in the stipend for one decade. So students are facing some difficulty in the internship.
Placement Experience :
BVSc is eligible for the government job and will be awarded a doctorate. But the sad news is, since 2013 their no proper recruitment of jobs for veterinary science from the government side so the students are working in private clinics and other sectors. Min package is 35k and max of 45k Less than 5 per cent of students get placements in the government sector. I plan to do post-graduation.
Campus Life :
Yearly one college day and hostel day will be conducted, but the time, day and date will be not permitted for a particular month it will depend on the academic schedule of the year. Subject textbooks, for example, Vegard, Sandhu, Bhatia, Chakrabarti, Samit Kumar Nandi etc... The hostel was established in 2000 where 2 years of PGs were accompanied and a new hostel was established in 2016 where the first years will be accompanied. Food is maintained by the students and the menu is according to their accessibility. The fee for the hostel will be added to the academic fee yearly.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
