Dislikes
- There is no hostel facility for the campus it is quiet difficult to search for hostel also they are providing some private hostel like SITAM which is nearby to the campus it is quiet difficult to stay in that hostel as there is very much high fee to be paid.
Remarks :
I got admission to this University through CUET UG. Based on the score the seat will be given through a process of online counseling followed by offline document verification. The cutoff is much lower compared with the remaining Universities because it is a new University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the course follows UGC norms to implement NEP 2020 through skill courses like internships, and major and minor projects. The course contains major and minor subjects that include Botany and Chemistry respectively. It also includes languages and soft courses. Not only Botany this course also contains biological sciences like Immunology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Molecular biology, Plant Biotechnology, etc. The faculty members are 3 in number for the Department of Botany and for Chemistry it is different and some guest faculty from various institutions also come to teach all are PhD qualified. The term and sem exams were conducted based on 6 months per sem and mostly they match with all other central universities. There is no extra fee for anything when compared with other universities the fee of this university is much less.
Campus Life :
Foundation day and Girijanosthavam in August. Regular talks with many great personalities across India are being conducted. Farewell and Freshers were conducted in June and September respectively. The library and lab infrastructure are new so we can use them accordingly. Sports are conducted as an occasion during the Independence Fest. There is no hostel provided by the university but a private hostel that is SITAM which is nearby to the campus is given but the fee is very high many students live in rooms near the campus and some private hostels across the campus.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
