- I admire the faculty in this college because of the way they teach and put up a high standard in teaching methods. Every professor is an gold medalist in there respective fields and with an high experience in teaching i felt i was the lucky one to get taught by them
- And i liked the in college atmosphere because of the infrastructure and a news editors office in my campus called 'etemad' even though it was old but it really helped me to gain knowledge on current affairs and understand more about worldly things
Dislikes
- The main blocks infrastructure looks like it was an 100yrs old structure it needs an renovation and the washrooms were very horrible and un hygiene it makes everyone feel sick after using them. And there were no events and clubs or social organisations conducted in this campus , which made a boring engineering life.
- The only thing i hated the most was the location of this college in the centre of Hyderabad City filled with pollution traffic, and no proper transport facilities and no proper hotels or hostels nearby.
Remarks :
The main reason behind choosing this college is it's OU affiliated and for civil engineering under ou affiliated colleges this one is the best there's another reason why I've chosen this college is because it has full fee reimbursement for merit students. It was very helpful for low annual income background students and am a diploma student so I got entry directly in the second year with an exam called ECET and I got a rank around 693, to get a seat in this branch rank in ecet should be below 1500.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've chosen the Civil Engineering stream in this college because I am a diploma student and completed a diploma in Civil Engineering at a government polytechnic college, Deccan engineering College has the best faculty for the civil stream they are very professional and experienced faculties with a good track record of successful students in there life's, And coming to semester exams the syllabus is well taught by the faculty that scoring became very easy for me and I even got a good satisfying percentage in my semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
There were no companies offering internships that were linked to Deccan College but outside of the college, I got selected by a GOVERNMENT SCCL MNC company for a paid internship of 6 months with a Job placement and a monthly 15k stipend as an intern, to get selected in that MNC(SCCL) there's an exam for undergraduate students. Deccan hasn't provided any help or placement opportunities for students.
Placement Experience :
There are very few placements in this college to be frank there are no job opportunities, when I was in my final year there was only one company that showed interest in our college, and only two members from the whole college got placed in that firm and I was one of the selected ones. Later on, I left the job because of low increments and more work pressure and I started preparing for government jobs.
Campus Life :
Campus life was I wouldn't say very satisfying but it was good because the location of the college was in the center of the city filled with pollution traffic and no hostels or hotels nearby, which was a very frustrating situation for any student and bus facilities to travel are also very less we need to walk around 1km to get to the bus stop. Deccan College has a wonderful large Library filled with with every kind of book new and old editions i would give 5 out 5 stars, especially for the library. There are no social groups or clubs in this college
Hostel Facilities :
The main issue is that this college doesn't provide any hostels for nonlocals and there are no hostels near the college locality. For hostels, we need to travel to another area. Me, I joined a government post-metric minority boys hostel 2km away from college, and it was free, to get admission to this hostel we had to apply and write an aptitude test, and if we cleared that test, they would even provide us with monthly scholarships. Only cleaning fee was collected from students which was around 500/month Coming to the food in the hostel was very good hygienic healthy and tasty.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

My experience at NIAT

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
