My review on Sri Sairam college of engineering

- Library was good. We got e-books and also academic books were available in Library
- We had great playground. And also indoor stadium for badminton and table tennis.
Dislikes
- Classes were out dated. Could have been better for the fee they charge
- Parking was not good. When it rains it was hard to navigate through those ponds
Remarks :
I got admission through management. I didn't have to take any tests to get admission here. Fee here varies based on where you are from local people get less and people from outside Karnataka will be having more fees for management seats. For if the admission is by taking government exams then it will be as mentioned by the govt.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took EEE but I wanted to go for ECE (it was a situation that made me take EEE). The course was overall good. Few faculties were excellent in teaching things but few didn't go even a little outside the syllabus just made us memorise things and get scores in exams(can't compliment them). Now I have heard the fee has increased by 100%. I completed ug back in July 2023. Exams were as same VTU. There are college scholarships based on the CGPA starting from 8CGPA- 5000-10000. I got a scholarship from the Karnataka govt.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't get any internship opportunities. But got in-plant training in Titan which was not even related to the course I opted for. I didn't get any knowledge over there just hang out with friends and wasted my time well.
Placement Experience :
I didn't get placed not so great. The college will only provide info about where the companies are hiring students have to be there to get jobs. Yes, there were a few companies that came to our college for hiring but very few.
Campus Life :
I was not involved in social activities i don't remember months and days But every department conducts its fests. And college day that is every year College does encourage sports our college has participated in hockey, kabaddi, archery, Koko and there were many more and also they provide coaching for enthusiasts
Hostel Facilities :
I was a day scholar But heard that food was not good. One fellow even found insect in his food. Saw few rooms they were average. They had only for hostel only trip . They used to take them for places which are famous in banglore

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
