I had to write the KCET exam and NATA to get admission to this College, the reason was because of the distance, travel, and convenience, The college is near to my home, and if we have average marks of around 65+% we can easily get seats in this College as per college cutoff when I talk about bad aspects of college I feel after some time college will go extinct to since in, more we have many options of colleges to choose, architecture is a course where everything is practical from learning to preaching in the carrier so the teachers will guide u only when u approach them, it's not about academic stress it's about passion towards the carrier, of course, we will have academic pressure and submission stress but we can do it once start understanding the course, hence it is challenging but we have carrier options, the college provides good amenities we have site visits every Thursday which is an extracurricular activity, hence we can't expect fests or anything u, will get quality education. Don't expect the college vibe.
Well-qualified faculty I chose this College since my senior approached me with the pros of the college, We have 3 internal tests for internal marks and 1 semester-end exam and we level r average we can study and manage to get good marks in architecture, but the teachers want early submission and attendance to give good internal marks to us, VTU website provides great help to us.
Since I was in 2nd year it was all hand drafting no internships were provided, But an internship for the 9th semester is a part of the course so we don't have to worry about internships in the early years since we have to learn a lot from scratch.
Since it's architecture they don't provide placement and hence we have to get in contact with firms and get internships, though we have job options after college, we can ask help from our seniors to get contacts of firms or builder associations.
Social life is off since less students, We have site visits the only advantage to learning outside but they don't provide a lot of fests or any sports activities it's on us we should participate in other colleges' sports and hence enjoy, we have NASA council we can easily see the channel on insta or WhatsApp ,we have library we can easily get model question papers of previous years to study n extra books we can sit n study campus is big n we have a lot of place
I have my classmates from hostel life is like people do socialize there and make friends too, I would say don't opt for a hostel since no proper or good food, but students can still try a hostel for a year to see and manage their studies, we have Oxford hostel for all engineering, dental and architecture students same hostel, so yh it's good if ur alone u can get company hostel is on campus for girls and boys, it's different n it's outside the campus just 1 min walk.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
