Remarks :
The main reason that made me choose this college was it was only women also it has really good psychology teachers. There weren't any admission tests they just asked your percentage if it's above 55% then you are in. No long procedures just fill out the application form online once it's approved you will get an e-mail then u have to go to the college and pay the fee later u have to complete your UUCMS registration you're a student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always dreamed of becoming a counselor and helping people so I chose to study psychology at Bishop Cotton's. The teachers are very well qualified and with experience of being a counselors or clinical psychologists. The teaching is excellent which will make you fall in love with the subject. Teachers are very cool, helpful, supportive, and understanding. We have two internals and a final semester exam usually within five months. The fourth semester was a little rushed and was finished within three months. Except for psychology, I personally didn't like any other teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has offered internships in Accenture company but since am a psychologist I am required to work in hospitals the college doesn't help with hospital internships we have to go to the hospitals and ask for internships some of the hospitals that offer psychology internships Manipal, Nimhans, Vivtoria and HCG.
Placement Experience :
The college offers good placement opportunities since companies do visit my college and hire students for internships. The college also provides many internship opportunities, Also during the final semester there is a given time for compulsory internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since I was a migrated student in the first year they charged 5000 extra and I paid 48000 later for the second year 43000 and for the third year will be 55000. The application fee will be 500 and book expenses will be according to you if u wanna get them or not. Other than that there are not any compulsory expenses.
Campus Life :
Every year we have Disha which is a huge fest in our college and there are lots of fests that are held by different departments every year with other colleges participating, in the year's end we have a compendium for the Christmas celebration. The college is very active in clubs like Rotaract Eco-club and Red Cross Society they conduct many events and awareness through these clubs. There are huge variety of books present in our college library and coming to amenities there isn't much like only 70% of classes have smart boards other than that it's good.
Hostel Facilities :
There are many Pg's around the college like I am staying in Sunshine Pg right opposite our college. The owner charges 9k for 4 sharing 12k for 2 sharing and 15k for single sharing. The rooms aren't worth it also the food is adjustable only because it's very near gotta go with that option.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
