- I like the fact that my college is continuously developing and the fact that the teachers are increasing in number and showing interest towards the development of students capabilities. I like the fact that the number of events, each year are increasing and that the council and the professors as a unit are able to organise efficiently, various events and bring a lot of skills. A Skill Lab has been opened in the college, two years back and has been functioning efficiently. interest is being shown by the management to improve all aspects of the college and hospital which is done is proving to develop the patient intake.
- The host committee is making use of its power to help increase the quality of the hostel, and the management is putting in its efforts to do the same. Students are given a platform to give their inputs for the improvement of the hostel. Overall, the college is going to go a long way, with further development and consistent efforts.
Dislikes
- there is nothing specific that I dislike about the college. However, I think that a few aspects could be improved. This includes the patient intake. Presently efforts are being put to improve the sports facilities and an amphitheatre and auditorium are being built. Hence,there is a lot of construction work that is going on in the college that is causing disturbance.
- similarly, there is construction work is going on in the hospital. Since the college Is fairly new, a lot of development has to be done in each department and the college has to be more established. Often the students complain about the distance of the college from the centre of the city and is one of the reasons that I have chosen the hostel myself.
Remarks :
My marks in the entrance exam, led me to take this college, along with the good reviews I heard from family friends and seniors. I took the NEET UG exam and underwent counselling under KEA to get into this college. No interviews were given to me for the same. Good aspects- increasing development rate, increasing patient intake in the hospital, teaching staff being well involved in students and their academics, good sports facilities and manageable hostel facilities and good. Bad aspects- Less patient/case exposure at this particular stage, fewer cultural events. Admission process- Clear NEET with marks that meet the cutoff, enter online and offline counselling processes under KEA and accept college, pay fees and take admission. I prepared for NEET with study materials given by my coaching institute and I prepared for the counselling with the help of seniors who had previously undergone counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course helped me achieve my goal of being a doctor, and my interest in biology from the beginning brought me to it. The faculty are qualified doctors from across the country, several even from national universities. They have specialised in the subjects of the departments they work under. The teaching method includes a classroom setup with PowerPoint and other digital equipment. Term exams and three in number for each year and are conducted approximately every 3 months. The term exams are moderately difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
no, I have not opened for an internship. Internships must be done by every student who is completing the degree. The internship helps us gain exposure to various cases and to learn to treat patients while working under experienced doctors.
Placement Experience :
The criteria for the internship is to pass all four years of the degree. The internship is one year long and interns get paid 10,000/month. Every student is obliged to undergo the internship before receiving the degree. My plans after getting the degree are to move to the United States of America
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
academic fees- 10,94,570(including lab, tuition) hostel fee-1,44,000 skill lab -47000 additionally, a refundable fee of? 75,000 is taken while entering the hostel. A donation fee of one lakh rupees was taken while registering for the college.
Campus Life :
IATRIKOS- august KALAKRISHASTHA- september AARUSHI- november Books are more than adequately available at the central library. A digital library is also present. Classrooms are digitalised, with projectors, mics and tabs to draw whilst teaching. Spacious ventilated lecture halls are present. A basketball court, throwball courts, Volleyball courts, Football courts, and a cricket ground are present on the campus. The college also facilitates playing other sports through a sports arena located nearby. A student council is present, which has various committees. A council page is run on Instagram, and various committee pages are also present on the platform. seven companies are present in the college which host various events and fests throughout the year. Clubs are present under all the committees for students to register under. A Yearly magazine is produced.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is located on campus. It charges 1,44,000/ year for a two-sharing room and 1,20,000 for a three-sharing room/year. The food menu is decided by the hostel committee. The quality of food is reviewed regularly and changed. when needed. The registration process for the hostel happens in the college building, and the hostel is quite affordable for most.

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
