Remarks :
I have been selected for the entrance exam under the scheme a the University of Mysore is one of the oldest university first oldest universities in Karnataka admission to the university you have to write the PGCET entrance exam then only we get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Master of Science in Botany is one of the trending courses in present days the University of Mysore has a wide scope for this course the faculties are really good and friendly & well experienced they give various experiments and assignments.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, we don't have any internships in our Department the final years mostly get internships as a part of their studies and subjects the stipend was not so genuine mostly the interns will get 4k per month.
Placement Experience :
Every year the university conducts a placement fare and the department also conducts a placements drive for final-year students the average package is 3 lakhs per annum depending on the companies, and the placement rate is 50%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The University of Mysore conducts an entrance exam every year the admission will be scheme such as scheme a and scheme b scheme a fee structure is 14k and scheme b structure is 78k depending on merit and categories.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the University of Mysore is really good Surrounded by different kinds of trees and plants every year the department conducts fests and sports activities to build extracurricular activities in students.
Hostel Facilities :
The University of Mysore has good facilities in terms of hostels the university has four hostel blocks the food is nice but the room facilities are not so good for admission you have to apply for a hostel room on the university's official website.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
