I chose this college because of the late results in nios 12th and all the other college seats were full for that current year. I got to know about this college from govt.it is the first college of physiotherapy in Karnataka.
I chose this course because I think I will be of good help to the people in the future especially women in my community. faculties are good but strict at the same time. till now I have given 2 internals and they were quite difficult because it's my first year.
I am currently in 1st-year but internships are for students who complete four years we have 6 months internship for which we have to choose the hospital by our wish. Will let u know once I get to that stage.
The alumni of our college are in great places and that's what makes our college famous and reputed I have no plans for now or for the future Placements and jobs will be offered once we are at the end of this journey and I am in 1st right as of now.
In total, my course costs around 5,50,000 for 4 years and per year around 70-80k and there are medical fees per year 9,000 and other fees and I travel 50kms for clg so the bus charges add in that.. overall I spend more than any other classmates of mine.
There are so many fests and functions and events in our college. There are different libraries for different courses in our college with almost all the books you need. Sports and extra activities are given more importance here and students regularly participate in intercollege competitions.
I have not opted hostel because the food is not so good and I am a foodie so I am a day scholar for now. I change 3 buses in the morning and 3 buses in the evening for college to home and I travel 50kms for college.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
