- Definitely the faculties here are so friendly and they help a lot in participating events and completing projects
- Campus is environment friendly and the climate here is pretty good. Labs are fine and contains AC . Cafe is also good .SKCET campus is one the good area in Coimbatore
Dislikes
- Main thing I dislike about my college is "Hostel Food". I stayed at college hostel for a year which was my worst experience. I doesn't mean hygiene ,it is about the variety. same food repeated through the week ,also the taste is not up to the mark .
- Water facility in the Campus is so bad that no water dispenser or water doctors are present. 20L cans are delivered to certain places where the students take it to fill their water bottles ,basically self service. Water cans are not even new
Remarks :
There are no entrance exams for this college. You can only join here by government or management quota. The admission process is so easy that the administration office cooperates a lot to make it easier. In case of joining this college, there will be no trouble in it
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics are the best. The placement training provided here is not available in any of the colleges in Coimbatore. there are a variety of courses available and each course has its best curriculum. All the students here are School Toppers and freshers can be guided by them. Faculties are well-skilled and well-experienced, they are always available if you need them.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internships as I have started my third year in college just now and doing internships is our wish and effort, college doesn't provide any internships. Placements are only provided by the college.
Placement Experience :
SKCET is famous for its placements provided to students. About 90% of students get placed and the minimum CGPA required for placement is 6.5. Here are some offers made by companies: TCS - 7LPA - 20 offers. Accenture - 6.5LPA -15 offers. CapeGemini - 7.5LPA - 17 offers. Open Text - 9LPA - 18 offers. The highest package is 95LPA by STATUS.IM
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
FEE: government quota: 150000rs (tuition fee-60000rs ,special course fee-90000rs) management quota:200000rs(tuition fee-110000rs,special course fee-90000rs) + donation(varies for every course) hostel fee: 150000rs Semester fee: 4000rs per semester Arrear fee:1000rs per paper. SCHOLARSHIPS: SKCET doesn't provide any scholarships but students here are provided with scholarships by Tamil Nadu government according to their mark, birth and background
Campus Life :
Not many fests are conducted in SKCET and they are not so great. Therefore the SKCET is not good for student enjoyment. they mainly focus on placement training and IVs are not allowed. it is a good place to study and not a place to enjoy. If you are good at sports, then there is a marvellous stadium on our campus(which contains football, basketball, volleyball court and a cricket turf).
Hostel Facilities :
There are new and old blocks in SKCET where facilities in new blocks are good and old blocks are so bad, it is fine to cope with. Food is not okay and doesn't taste so good. The menu is repeated throughout the year, also eggs and Meat are not provided by the hostel mess, If you wish to eat Non-veg, you can either order online or eat in the college food court. "Outing is not permitted,even for an hour"

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
