- Currently my collage infrastructure is being on developing phase but still it is beautiful.
- The faculties are very knowledgeable and inspiring too
Dislikes
- Some of the things are still under developing phase and it is taking very long to develop these things like swimming pool, Canteens , Auditorium
- And the bad thing is that the location of my collage is around 40 km away from main city of Patna .
Remarks :
The factors that made me to choose this collage is my JEE Advanced rank and better branch at that rank. The process of taking admission in any IIT to qualify Jee Mains and Advanced. And to qualify this exam I had joined a Coaching Center. The pros of my collage is that it is an IIT and have better placements stats than some other 2nd gen IITs.Since it is new IIT so there is constrution going on so still it's campus is not developed fully.
Course Curriculum Overview :
At my rank this is one the best possible branch that I could get so I chosed this branch. Talking about faculties they are highly qualified and most of them have done their PHDs from foreign Universities. Exam occurs at regular intervals as prescribed in schedule , basically a semester comprises of 2/3 quizzes whose weightage is about 20% and mid sem whose weightage is 30% and End Sem exam whose weightage is 50%.
Internships Opportunities :
currently i have not opted for any type of intership but there are recruiters who came like Atlassain, Qualcom ,etc which visits the campus every year for intership and recruits a large number of students also they provide PPOs to best of the interns also.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility differs from company to company but most of the company is open for all streams of students who have 7.5 + CGPA and some of them also demand for 8 + CGPA and for core companies also opens at 7 or may be 6.5 also. 83% Students are placed last year. Highest on campus placement is 59. Talking about me , I m literally currently exploring my carrer opportunities and thereafter I will decide what i have to do.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
TOTAL FEE FOR GENERAL CATEOGERY STUDENTS IN ODD SEMESTER IS AROUD 146000 and in even semester it is around 144000 these include mess and hostel fee along with academic fee. And at the time of admission students need to pay 186000( for general ), and subtract the amount as per category in tution fee . for students with income less than 5 lakhs but above 1 lakh: they need to pay receive 2/3 fee waiver in tution fee and need to pay only 1/3 of total tution fee. and students with income less than 1 lakh and ST & SC students need not to pay any tuition fee they receive full tuition fee waiver. for scholarships: students whose CGPA is above 6.5 is eligible for MCM scholarship and SC/ST students receive full refund of hostel fee. and OBC and general students (who are eligible ) .
Campus Life :
IIT Patna holds the honor of organizing best Fests in north eastern India some of them are Anwesha(cultural) , Celesta(technical), TeDX, Infinito(sports fest). All types of books are available in library including Curriculum, magazines, story , etc. For sports there are all types of facilities available here including coaches , kits , grounds etc, clubs which are run by student body are NJACK(CODING CLUB), YAVANIKA(DRAMA CLUB), EXHOUISA (DANCE CLUB) , SYAHI(POETRY CLUB)
Hostel Facilities :
Food provided at hostel is good but some days the provide very oily and bad food . Hostel are alloted as first come first serve basis for first year students and for 2nd yr onwards room allocation is done through website prepared by student body that is also first come first serve and roomates can be chosen by our own choice .

Placement Experience :
Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :
faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

There are placement strike 99% so I will admission this college for build up my career there are placement are highest in bihar. There are placement are very easy process. Placements are different companies like wipro infosis tcs icici bank etc.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
