Being a government Medical College, the allotment of seats in this institution is solely based on the merit list published by the CEE after the national rank list of NEET UG is out. In Kerala, there was around 10 government colleges at the time of my admission. After some research in the Web and discussing with people who is familiar with this, I came to know that the patient load in this college is better than several others as this is the only tertiary health centre for 2 districts of Kerala, namely Kannur and Kasargod. So the abundance of patients is almost comparable to the other top Government colleges and hence when I got alloted a seat in this college I took it.
As we all know MBBS is a very lengthy course, spanning for 5.5 years. Despite being long there is no time to waste as well. I haven't applied for any internships during my UG period, so I don't have a first hand experience in that to review. But you can volunteer for several public health camps conducted by the community medicine department or any other departments if you have the time. There will be no stipend for volunteering activities though.
After academics, that is if you pass the final year exams, you have to do one year of compulsory rotatory internship. During this period you'll be paid a stipend of 27k. And after this one year, you can work as a Medical Officer in a Government hospital, where you'll get around 45k monthly salary or as a General Practitioner in which case you'll be paid depending on the number of hours or patient load. The salary package varies depending on the place you work but the government salary is almost constant, that is 45k.

The library is really spacious. There are different sections namely for reading and research. The research library has an abundant collection of books for all stages, whether UG, PG pr SS
There's college hostel facility available for each student taking admission. I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
