Read Full ReviewAs we all know MBBS is a very lengthy course, spanning for 5.5 years. Despite being long there is no time to waste as well. The latest curriculum, as of the 2023 NMC update, is in a way that in first year there are 3 subjects - Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry In 2nd year Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology In 3rd year- PSM and Forensic medicine In final year, there's all the clinical subjects coming together- ENT, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynecology The faculty are all among the best doctors of the state, with top qualifications. The exams are conducted in an yearly basis. At the end of each semester there is University exams and you need to clear all papers to be able to appear for the subsequent year's exam
After academics, that is if you pass the final year exams, you have to do one year of compulsory rotatory internship. During this period you'll be paid a stipend of 27k. And after this one year, you can work as a Medical Officer in a Government hospital, where you'll get around 45k monthly salary or as a General Practitioner in which case you'll be paid depending on the number of hours or patient load. The salary package varies depending on the place you work but the government salary is almost constant, that is 45k.
Read Full ReviewCourse is under CBME curriculumn. We have theory sessions and practicals along with dissection. It is really enriching as well as entertaining to be honest. Faculties are well qualified . Fees is 23500 per annum
During housergency we have to work in our hospital and that is for one year. We may also have to work in nearby women and child hospital and certain other hospitals too. After that we have to qualify NEET PG for further studies.
