- The connectivity of the campus is nearly to the railway station just 20 km away from station and also the geographical area of the college is rural place with no air pollution in the 654 acres of land
- The teachers are highly qualified and also the classmates are determined to learn that helps a lot to improve my self along with them and the university supports the sports and extra curricular activities a lot by giving 5 percentage attendance extra
Dislikes
- The mess food provided by the college is not at all good and it causes many health issues for many students and that includes the typhoid and dengu fever and the water contaminated issues also is common in University and the students will not get the hot water from mess
- The location where the university is situated it's a dry land and sometimes the water scarcity will affect the students in University and water tanker will come to the university and the students should carry water in buckets and to wait till the water is coming from the dams and last time it took 4 days to solve this problem during the March month .
Remarks :
As we can say that a central university will be a iit for a middle class student that he can make a good exposure if it is in academics, sports, arts whatever field we take and also we can make friends from all parts of India . Basically all the central universitys choose cheir students through the entrance exam which is conducted by the national testing agency (NTA) once in every year the exam name is common university entrance test (cuet) and for some departments like MBA the department will conduct interview for selecting the students and other departments take their students by the entrance scores so for my department I only needed to prepare for the exams and I just did self study and worked out some previous year question papers and i got through .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic course curriculum of social work in central university of Karnataka is quite good for a student who want to seek knowledge in the field of social work and also it enhance the knowledge of student as well as his skills to thrive in society and all the faculties who work here have a doctoral degree in their specific subject and that quality can be find in their way of explaining and art of teaching itself but one drawback I found that if the curriculum is including latest technologies like computer languages or artificial intelligence lessons also the students will get more understanding about the real world and prepare them for the best future ahead
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for the internship in various organisations such as public sector as well as in private sector also and almost all internships did in University are non stipend internships and the students went to various organisations and perform the roles and duties accordingly their discipline of study some students from b tech have went to ISRO and did research and also students from geology also went to ISRO for doing their internship
Placement Experience :
The college placement cell is good and it provides some opportunity for the students and various companies have come for the campus placements and more than 20 percentage of the students have placed last year for the package of 4 lpa minimum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee paid in first year is approximately around 20000 which includes the 13000 to the tution fee and 1900 is for caution deposit which we will get when we passout from this university and also there are other fee also include in that 20000 such as health centre fee,library fee computer centre fee also and the there will be slight reduction in fee for the students who belongs to the Sc,St,ews catagory and the all the students are eligible for the scholarships such as Nsp provided as well as state government provided scholarships also
Campus Life :
In central university of Karnataka there are more than 20 departments are there and all the department will celebrate their festivals which will last 1 day to 3 days this really helps the students to recreational activities and fun and joy and also the university is diversified by all the India so most of the functions like vishu ,onam, diwali, Pongal, lohri, Dasra all the functions have celebrated by students and the library is having all types of books related to the syllabus of academics and also that includes the competitive exam books also and the social life in central university of Karnataka have a wast side there are lot of people to talk and many activities to do there are cricket team, football team, volleyball team, handball team ,National service scheme which will help them students to engage productively and make them a leader tommorow
Hostel Facilities :
All of the students in central university of Karnataka is staying in hostel only and the hostel registration is simple by signing up in a mobile app the student can login to the hostel app which gives information about the fee,room everything and the mess fee for the students will be 100 rupees per day and the hostel fee is 600 per month and the students who belongs to Sc St ews is not needed to pay the hostel fee that is 600 per month and the menu is dinner and lunch is same which includes rice, curd, chapathy , pappad And the morning menu is upma with egg , Tuesday idli egg, poha , poori,idly , poori , Dosha for Sunday and chicken curry and paneer provided in Sunday night
