AIIMS Raipur admits students through national-level entrance tests, central counselling and seat allotment based on All India Rank and government reservation rules. Its MBBS course has a total fee of INR 5,856, while B.Sc Hons Nursing costs INR 4,805.

Students seeking MBBS admission must qualify NEET UG and participate in the MCC counselling process for seat allotment.
For B.Sc Hons Nursing, students must pass the AIIMS Nursing Entrance Exam and complete the online seat allocation conducted by AIIMS Delhi.
Admission to postgraduate programmes such as MD, MS and MDS depends on INI CET scores, followed by central counselling managed by AIIMS New Delhi.
Under the reservation policy, 27% of seats are reserved for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 10% for EWS and 5% for PwBD applicants.

At the undergraduate level, AIIMS Raipur provides MBBS, B.Sc Hons Nursing and B.Sc Paramedical programmes. Each course has its own eligibility conditions, entrance test and seat-allocation procedure.

AIIMS Raipur PhD Admission 2026

PhD selection at AIIMS Raipur considers the applicant's qualifying degree and performance in the applicable entrance and assessment stages.

PhD	Applicants must hold at least one of these qualifications: Medical category: MBBS, BDS or M.Sc Nursing with at least 55% aggregate, or MD, MS, MDS, DM or M.Ch in the relevant subject, or a Diplomate of the National Board of Examination. Non-medical category: A master's degree from an Indian university, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the project, with at least 60% aggregate. Applicants with an M.Sc other than M.Sc Nursing, an M.Tech degree or BAMS are considered under this category.	AIIMS Raipur selects applicants who have qualified UGC-NET, UGC-CISR NET, SLET or GATE. Selection may also be through the AIIMS PhD Entrance Exam, which includes a written test, departmental assessment and personal interview.

What I Liked

Infrastructure, library, wifi, hostel facility is very good
Water, current is free. Mess food is also very good.

What I didn’t like

Teachers are not helpful. They won't hear you about any problem
Vaccination is very less. 80 Perce attendance is must.

AIIMS RAIPUR REVIEW

What I Liked

Campus life is good. Rooms are average. 1st year we have to share a room with three and after that 2. From half of 2nd year we get single rooms. Ragging are nil in first year. Have to face some sort of ragging in second year though.
Infrastructure is excellent to be honest. There are 3-4 clean washrooms on every floor. Also hospital building is best. Library is excellent one of the best in India.

What I didn’t like

I dislike mess because there is not enough chairs to sit on. So we have to eat while standing. Also some fans are not functional. Quality of food is average. And hygiene is not upto the mark
Although some faculty are good. Chunk of them just go through their PowerPoint presentations.

Remarks:

I lived near Raipur a lot. I know this city very well. People here are very kind and humble and you won't fall in trouble for some silliness. At college part I'd say I came and saw facilities here. As I mentioned in other answers I found most of things alike that, that time. Cut off is pretty high as general category you've to be best 1100 to 1200 fir 1st round selection. Admission process is smooth and excellent. Exam name is neet

Pros and Cones of aiims Raipur

What I Liked

I like basically the anatomy faculties how they taugh us and give us knowledge I like practicals lab of my college , thd auditorium and classroom which air conditioned
I like the security system of my college too many guards present everywhere for our safety Girls can freely walk in night around 1 am too

What I didn’t like

Not enough rooms to accommodate all the clubs A single ground for both cricket and football
Only one canteen in college complex There is no canteen in mess And the mess is often closed by 11 pm night

First of all the tag of AIIMS attracted me to join this prestigious college AIIMS RAIPUR After this The fees of the course of MBBS which is around 5000 thats attracted me again to much The anti ragging policy of college is again very much effective that is there I didn't listen any case of ragging Here just a normal senior junior interaction takes place that is friendly also highly educated professors is another thing which attracted me here Infrastructure of college is very good sort of good space use Air conditioned classrom, practical labs and simulation lab also mess service is aslo quite good Canteen facility is also good a little expensive the college canteen is But the hospital complex canteen is very cheap and affordable for lower socioeconomic status people also.... thats all thank you!!
