Likes
- Campus life is good. Rooms are average. 1st year we have to share a room with three and after that 2. From half of 2nd year we get single rooms. Ragging are nil in first year. Have to face some sort of ragging in second year though.
- Infrastructure is excellent to be honest. There are 3-4 clean washrooms on every floor. Also hospital building is best. Library is excellent one of the best in India.
Dislikes
- I dislike mess because there is not enough chairs to sit on. So we have to eat while standing. Also some fans are not functional. Quality of food is average. And hygiene is not upto the mark
- Although some faculty are good. Chunk of them just go through their PowerPoint presentations.
Remarks :
I lived near Raipur a lot. I know this city very well. People here are very kind and humble and you won't fall in trouble for some silliness. At college part I'd say I came and saw facilities here. As I mentioned in other answers I found most of things alike that, that time. Cut off is pretty high as general category you've to be best 1100 to 1200 fir 1st round selection. Admission process is smooth and excellent. Exam name is neet
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum and academics are pretty good here. They expect very much as you are studying in an institute of national importance. Have the responsibility. On the Faculty part, I'd say some are excellent, some are average and some are worst as they just go through their PowerPoint presentations. You've to study on your own a lot and most of times. Though you shouldn't just restrict yourself to study and play games.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's AIIMS just 5856 rupees you've to pay for whole 5 years for everything registration, admission, development, lab, and everything. You just have to spend your 4000rs per month or 48k per year on below par mess. No management quota is entertained here.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is average at least for me. I've got a good room with clean surroundings. Nearby health services. But we have to go too far to go outside the campus. Vehicles are not available so it's tough task. Mess is not upto the mark at all. Library is good u can study. Lts are good. Also sports facilities are good here. We got basketball, volleyball, football, cricket ground and badminton court. There are many clubs in arts and culture committee. Whole college got ac.
Hostel Facilities :
It's provided by college itself when you are taking admission. You have to go Dean academics office which is on 2nd floor on college building. Go in within given time and register yourself in college as well as in hostel. Mess is not good at all. Much more improvement required. Infrastructure is excellent.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
