- The campus life is quite fascinating. There are multiples for for the relaxation of students to relieve from the academic stress like they have temples name Kali Mandir, they have river views spot , playground meditation centre canteens cafeteria etc. college open organises fest Per year during the month of February and March. There is also holi program. There are new buildings for new department. Multiple hospital facilities.
- The hostel is quite close to the department. The scholars we are friendly enough to help in academics like laboratory and other things.
Dislikes
- The the faculties are partial however they don't pay much tension to the students who are introvert or have not that much interaction as compared to the students who are much vocal in the classes. Not all the faculties are good and teaching like some of the faculties just come to the class and read the ppts well some of the teachers are actually very capable of making the things clear.
- There is no facility for travelling inside the university for the students whose department is far away on earlier there was bus for the students but it was just for 5 to 10 days and then the student had to go either by their own vehicle or by walking which I literally didn't t like it.
Remarks :
One of the top college in Chhattisgarh which is also graded A + + by the NAAC recently plus it is central government based institution. However the cutoff here is generally high then other colleges in Chhattisgarh. They were no interviews for the admission in MSC course however there was counselling based on the merit list. The admission takes place here through entrance exam I like see you it early the college used to take its own entrance exam but now the admission here is through cuet. There are three counselling round base on the merit list. there is also category wise merit list based on which the students who got more marks will be selected first and then the remaining students will be selected based on the seats available.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses here are good enough but sometimes the schedule is not that great there is no frequency in exams I like the internal exams however semester exams always take place on time. I choose biotechnology because it's one of the top field in biology for graduation purpose plus. also demanding and progressing field. The faculty here are qualified enough holding many different qualifications and awards and their respective research. The teaching here is basically based on lectures using smart classes through presentation. Sometimes there is also arrangement of seminars for the students together knowledge about industries respective of the subjects that are two internals per semester and semester exam. The exam is not that tough if the student has the it well you can easily crack all the exams and get a good mark.
Internships Opportunities :
No I did not talk for any internship college basically provides internship in various University by the recommendation. Same of the students in my class did join internship programs in Lucknow as recommended by their mentors during the summer vacation. The internship program was for like 3 months University is the internship program ranges from 1 month to 6 month .
Placement Experience :
There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The system here is semester Based so the first semester the fee was around on 17500, for the second year the fees was around 16000 for the third year the fee was around 15000 and for the fourth year the was 13800 there is also scholarship schemes for the students who hold the reservation that changes from 10000 to 30000 from the state government and and national scholarship ages from 40000 to 60000 per year. There is also scholarship programs for the candidates who topped in the universe city plus the department per year 10000.
Campus Life :
There are multiple fest based on department level like the arts group has their fest named Aksh , the science group has their name as espectro, and many more that generally takes place during the month of February and March. There there is library that contains a lot of books and journals for the students. Do you University also provide facilities for the students like smart classes, laboratories that contain highly specialised instruments for the experiments. There is meditation centre sports ground for the students to play and relax, there are lot of clubs like udan which is a magazine to showcase talent of students, Abhinandan for the dance group, the wrong for the singers.
Hostel Facilities :
There are multiples for girls as well as boys for the girls there are three hostels mini Mata and bilasa for the students who are admitted for BSC 1st year and msc 1st year and then the students are sent to another hostel which is Rajmohini. But I am here basically ranges from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the girls hostel and there is boys hostel which has just schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. the hostel has its own mess . The mystery is around 10500 for 3 months and for 1 year it's around 42000. The breakfast time was from 7:30 M2 9:30 am the lunch timing was 12 to 3:30 p.m. and the snack timing was 5:30 to 6:30 and that dinner was from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
