- Campus of the Guru Ghasidas University is really good. The campus in made over 500 acre of land.
- Internship are one of the major factors which the University has improved in last 2 years.
Dislikes
- Faculty of the university is average because there not upto the mark for NAAC A++ rank university.
- Transportation is huge problem for students without vehicle.
Remarks :
The admission is done on the basis of CUET merit list. There were no extra formalities other than CUET exam in the admission process. The reason I choose this University because of the affordability and Highcourt is situated in Bilaspur.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Honestly, I choose this course due to an astrology which decided by prophesy of being in the law field. The staff is well educated but some of them are really irresponsible like every typical Indian educational Institute. Semester Exams are held every 6 months with 1 internal exam and 1 assignment each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
In terms of placement University provide full assist to the students. They also have a internship cell in each and every department in order to assist the student to get valuable internship under reputable organisations.
Placement Experience :
There are very rare placement offered in GGU campus. One cannot be depend upon the possibility of getting a placement in this University. After the degree I will purse PG degree of LLM along with I will practice advocacy in Court.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidalaya is a Central University which is located in Koni, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The tuition, admission and other fees are very affordable and takes admission only on the basis of CUET Exam merit list. Overall a student can spend their college life in just 1.5 lac per year including accommodation and other expenses.
Campus Life :
Every year a Central University fest is held around February March and individual fests are also done in each department. You may find almost every sports and extracurricular activities around the campus. Also there are many other social groups like Tarang Band and Abhinaratan for dancers.
Hostel Facilities :
I am not a hostel resident but my friends have shared me a positive review for the hostels. Mess food is great. University also provide food for just 20 Ruppes for poor student which is called Swabhiman Thali.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
