- I dislike the college infrastructure as it is really bad
- I dislike some faculties too because as they really fail in making students understand the concept
Remarks :
This college comes in the list of josaa and csab's list of colleges that can be allotted based on the ranks a student gets in an objective exam which is JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination) conducted by NTA. This college falls under government funded technological institute (GFTI) and is a NAAC A++ ranked college. However it's still unranked for engineering department. The admission process is simple and easy, after getting a seat in this college one can go for document verification and the process is smooth. The cutoff for this college is not much high , one can easily get a good branch even at low ranks. Example - i got cse at just 90 percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to my interest in computer science and engineering and also could not get a good college and branch at this rank. The faculties are qualified and most of them are associate professors and have a really great conceptual understanding. But still some of them are really bad when it comes to delivery of speech as well as keeping students attentive. There are teachers who actually can't be called teachers as they don't make the topic clear. Rest most of the faculties are good and have a clear understanding of the concept and their respective subject. The term exams were delayed as our session got started late so, in the beginning semesters the internals were conducted in an interval of 1 month and then just 1 month after that the end semester exams were scheduled. The difficulty of the exams is not so hard. Its doable and easy to solve.
Internships Opportunities :
The companies that offers internships are available through linkedin and internshala. There are no stipend based internship in the first two years unless you are proficient in the role they offer. Rest I've opted for a minor internship in java programming from codtech
Placement Experience :
The placement criteria is applicable after 6th sem that is 3rd year and then the companies starts onboarding. Companies such as american express and Accenture has hired from this college. The data about highest package and average package is unknown and same is for percentage of student getting placed. I have my plans set after completing my college degree I'll pursue for gate and complete my higer studies as well as look for an opportunity off campus.

The fee structure is as follows (Only for 1st sem) Tution fee - 11500 Admission fee (one time) - 600 Enrollment fee(one time)- 200 Lab/dept. Campus Life :
The campus is full of greenery and less in infrastructure so most of the campus is covered with trees and grass. The major fests that take place is - techfest which takes place between january to march A pre holi celebration (1 week before holi) And a garba event (during navratri) Apart from this there are many departmental fests which are open for all departments like edms etc. Libraries are rich in resources and contains almost every curricular book. Classrooms are decent with a smart board and white board and a green board. The desks are comfortable as they are padded with foam. The only issue faced is the connectivity of internet. This problem is a major problem for ggu campus and class. The internet faces difficulty . The sports activities are as follows - Annual sports meet University team trials And several other unofficial tournaments. Apart from this there are many clubs like - Urchin - videography and cinematography Tarang - for music and band Abhinartan - dance crew
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel allotment is done hand to hand with the admission cum document verification procedure. There is an option available for hostel allotment in the admission form which has to be ticked .It is available for 300 students and the hostels are different for 1st year , 2nd year and same for 3rd year and fourth year. I've rented a pg outside the college which is at a short distance from college. There are daily autos which charge 10 rupees and drop you from the main road to department. The locality is full of students from different departments. The food quality of the mess is average as it has a 4 time meal including breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The menu is fixed which is weekly and it contains unlimited food with proper meal. They provide 2 days special dinner which is good in taste

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .
Genuine review of NIT raipur
Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
