- The campus is lush green , with adequate infrastructure and a pretty chill campus life (with lots of walking :/).
- The campus is 650 acres big , with a lot of nescafes and amul outlets around .
Dislikes
- The faculty is a bit too relaxed regarding the placements and other things. Disciplinary is too strict here.
- The campus is too big to traverse by foot , a vehicle is always preferable . However , the public transport is affordable .
Remarks :
The good aspects are affordability and great return on investment . The admission process involves clearing JEE with a decent percentile , if you are aiming for the top branches . Teh counselling process is conducted by JoSAA and CSAB . GGV is a great choice for affordable and ROI driven degree with ample opportunities as it is a Central University .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose engineering because I always had a knack for devices and how they operate . The curriculum here is as relevant as other good colleges in Central India. The faculty is quite qualified here and most of them are supportive . The exams are conducted smoothly because the university is autonomous.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships yet , however there are several government internship opportunities also available along with private forms internships . However it is always tough to grab an internship , but there are always good opportunities out there .
Placement Experience :
The placemevestmentnts here are satisfactory , considering the fees and facilities . This college has a great return on investment , with an average package of around 3.5lakh in IT and CSE department . round 70% of the batch gets placed . Highest package ggoes upto 16 to 20 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees here in Guru Ghasidas Viashwavidyalaya is 30000 per year , which includes a lot of minor fee for fests and sports facility , major part of this 30000 fees is accredited to acedemic fees . The fees is same for all categories , and being a Central University , there is no such management quota for admissions .
Campus Life :
There are several fests organized round the year , like Equilibrio, AKSA , Spectra etc. The Nalanda Central Library is one of the largest libraries in the Central India . Dedicated Sports facilities and grounds are available . Clubs like GFG , GDSC etc are also present in the campus for tech activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opt for hostel , as there are many PGs around the campus in Koni locality with ample facilities . The average room rent is around 2 to 2.5k . Mess are a bit disappointing with average fees of 2.5k to 3k.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
