The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) is a renowned institution specializing in health management, hospital administration, public health, and related fields. It was established in 1984 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. IIHMR University is accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade and collaborates with international universities. IIHMR offers an MBA program with four distinct specializations. Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for General Category applicants and 45% for those in Reserved Categories. For admission, candidates who have not taken national-level exams like CAT, MAT, or XAT can sit for the IIHMR UMAT, an entrance exam conducted by the university itself. In 2023, the CAT cutoff for MBA admission at IIHMR was set at the 50th percentile for General Category students, while the MAT cutoff was 67 percentile. The total course fee for the MBA program is INR 11.5 lakhs.

IIHMR offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) program. To be eligible, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with coursework in health-related subjects, biology, or mathematics, from an accredited institution, with at least 50% marks. Additionally, applicants need at least two years of work experience in health-related roles, ensuring that they have practical knowledge in the field. Selection is competitive and includes the requirement of scores from exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, MCAT, or LSAT, followed by a personal interview to assess the candidate’s fit for the program. The total course fee for the MPH program is INR 16.27 lakhs.

IIHMR also offers a PhD program. To be eligible, candidates must have a master's degree or an M.Phil. in a relevant field with at least 55% aggregate marks or a Grade B on the UGC 7-point scale. Admission to the PhD program is based on performance in the IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT) and a personal interview. However, candidates with UGC-CSIR JRF & NET, SLET, GATE, or Teacher Research Fellowship qualifications and those who have completed an M.Phil. in a related field are exempt from the IRAT requirement. The course fee for the PhD program at IIHMR is INR 4 lakhs.
